  1. I used autosol to make it look like this. I'll try again another day with a scourer &a some metal polish. Ha yea, I had gloves on - wouldn't want to upset the mrs!
  2. Just had a spare 20 mins, so thought I'd have a go at cleaning my exhaust pipes up. They looked pretty bad, still not great. How would you go about removing that black stuff inside? I was thinking the wire brush attachment on the dremel??
  3. Just seen this lads. I'm based in Lancashire (Nr Blackburn)
  4. Bit of a long shot. Are you still looking to swap?
  5. Look no further, I'm looking to do a swap with someone who wants black seats. Mine are in really good condition. All the electrics work and the heated seats. In return I want some Alezan seats that are in the same condition, no rips and all the electrics need to be in full working order. Pic of mine below:
  6. This was on the gym car park. Almost as far away from the building as possible. It always confuses me when people park as close as possible when visiting a gym. Like they hate exercise so much, they have to park as close as possible... to the gym?! Anyway, I parked next to the Porsche as I knew he wouldn't be scratching and denying mine. I used to have a Porsche identical to this one. Really nice cars, especially the Pdk box. But looking at the pic, I prefer my Zed.
  7. Here she is fellas (and ladies) The pic of it parked next to the Porsche is @*!#. I rushed it because I didn't want to get caught by the owner of the Porsche in case he thought I was admiring his car. I didn't even see the Porsche until I looked at the pic on my phone 😉
  8. Where do you get facelift rear lights from? I want an orange interior.
  9. Edit* a legal virgin. Wouldn't want things to get weird...
  10. I'd have to agree - seats are sufficient, the gear knob and steering wheel would be overkill. Plus I have an aftermarket gear knob already. I'm not sure I'll go with coilovers. I've just come from a modded TT which was too low. I scraped it all the time and had to have the bumper repaired as a result. The led tail lights - I like them a lot. Are they pricey and hard to come by? Also, I didn't realise the headlights were different from the 04 to the... 06?
  11. I can see why people hate the orange leather. I feel they are a bit of a guilty pleasure. But with a car so garish, why play it safe with... black leather?! Although mine are in pretty good condition to be fair. I will get the spacers. Only had it 3 days though lol!
  12. Yea that was a plan of mine. I had spacers on the Audi for the same reason. I'm not wanting to do a great deal to the car. So far the list is: Refurb the wheels (probably go anthracite) Have one calliper resprayed (it's been scuffed) Wheel spacers Maybe put clear lights on the rear bumper Michelin Pilot super sports all round
  13. Cheers mate, yea I'm happy with it. I've got to say, I think I prefer the orange leather interior... Does anyone know where I can get a cap/cover for the bolt on the rear wiper arm (mines missing)? Had no luck on ebay.
  14. Here we go lads. Just popped outside and took a snap whilst it was sitting on the drive.
  15. It just has a little bit of spring to it on the last 1/10th The clutch is fine, it's not a high biting point or anything, it's just the height of the pedal. It sits about 1" higher than the brake pedal. Just hard work to drive it smoothly. I either kangaroo from a stationary position or rev the tits off it (with a loud exhaust) to then pull away like a learner!
  16. Oh I'm more than enjoying it. I remember when they first came out, around 2003...? Me and my Dad used to drive past an orange one, we were like, "woaw, what's that?" Wait... "a Nissan?!" Someone must have vandalised that Porsche by sticking a Nissan badge on!!! Ha. I can't wait to pull up my parents house with this, "hey Dad look, I bought one!" I've always wanted one, but just never ended up getting one for one reason or another. I sold my TT to get this. I poured my heart and soul into that car and roughly £4K over 2.5 years (7k miles) it was sad to see it go. But it's amazing what a better car will do for your grieving process, "what TT?" Is the high clutch pedal a 350z thing? I've seen a post on adjusting it. Going to give that a go.
  17. As with any new car (new to me) it takes a bit of getting used to. What's the situation with the clutches on these cars? Mine seems to be quite high, setting off is pretty jumpy. The last bit of the clutch kind of springs up, which is good for was changes when booting it down the motorway, but normal town driving, a bit of a nightmare to clutch control. Hill starts... forget about it!!! The sound... it's a V6... I mean, it's a ****ing V6!!!! Ahh that sound! Mine has a full powerflow exhaust system in too, so it just adds to the awesome sound. Love the gearbox. Such a precise notchy little thing. Driving position is perfect. I've given it one 0-50(ish) blast and it spun when changing to 2nd. Just heard the tyres screech. Never had a car that did that. What else can I say... I live the car. I'm so glad I bought one. Just getting used to it and trying not to give myself whiplash as I walk away from my parked Zed - whipping my head back to look at it. I'll need to upload some pics for you all. I'll wash it and take it to a decent spot for some nice pics this week.
  18. Hi all! Just bought myself a 350Z - picked it up last night. It's a silver 04 GT model with Black leather interior. I've come from a TT that I loved a modified a lot. My favourite part of the car so far is the gearbox. Really nice short sharp changes. The clutch feels a little high, so I'm going to adjust the pedal this week.
  19. Thanks everyone! I won't be pressing any buttons until I've got it back on familiar soil! As for the super unleaded... Of course!
  20. Is that to turn it off or on? I think I'll be taking it nice and slow, just had to fork out for insurance, tax will be the next thing, plus the actual purchase of the car, so slow and steady to keep costs down. Easier said than done, I'm sure.
  21. Thank you. It's a 3.5 hour drive back. I might see if I can get some "mpg madness" ;-)
  22. So excited for Sunday. This week has dragged at work. But I've just changed the vehicle on my insurance policy, so it's all starting to feel very real now! I pick up my 350z this Sunday!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention I was excited? Ha!
