  1. Hi all, Just went out for something to eat and saw this on the table. Anyone fancy it?
  2. Yea based in Lancashire mate. Near Accrington.
  3. We're going to go back tomorrow for "free retest" part ex it in, done. She getting an Audi A1 on Saturday, from now on we'll just go there for the mot. Just need to find somewhere to take the Zed for it's MOT in March.
  4. I never will, not after this. I thought they'd be the most trustworthy.
  5. So we took my girlfriends car to get it's MOT last Friday as she is selling it this Saturday. At halfords by the way... Unfortunately the car failed for 2 x things. 1) number plate bulb holder £25.82 plus Vat plus fitting 2) passenger side rear seatbelt buckle "broken" £78 plus vat plus fitting. I thought, in not having that, over £100 for a car we are part ex'ing in. So I had a look at this so called faulty number plate light holder. It turned out it was just a bulb. (£0.75) the idiot didn't know how how to remove a bulb, or they are just rip off merchants. The seatbelt buckle, I took it apart, put the spring back in place and hey presto it works. Ash 1 Halfords NIL!!!!! Saved over £100 there.
  6. It's definitely a different one then, mines not in Macclesfield. Couldn't find any up North, they all seem to be way down south.
  7. !! +1 '04 GM owner with a Silver logbook This is what I wanted to hear!!! Thanks guys!
  8. This has definitely alleviated some of my concern, if not all of it to be honest. All the reports are fine etc and I guess dark silver (gm) and light silver (silver) are similar colours anyway, so not too strange that a gm car would be listed as silver on the V5. I guess it's a type of silver....
  9. No, UK car mate. Just one of them things I guess.?!?
  10. Yea I definitely will. You'll have to give me some car waxing techniques. ;-) I've got to say, on real life, your car looked immaculate. Especially the interior.
  11. It's a "53" plate Gun Metal Grey - the search returned Silver The random EBay grey one was an "04" plate Gun Metal Grey - the search returned Grey I then did a search on another random grey one "53" plate, it came back as silver. So it seems pre-04 are silver on the V5 and post 04 are grey. I THINK that my panic is over. 1 week to go until I get my grey/silver (probably a cut 'N shuv) Zed. Can't wait!!!!!!
  12. Yea I know what you mean. I did a mileage check too and the mileage on the system (that is linked to the reg on the car) is the same mileage as shown on the clocks in the actual car. Well it's actually 2k more on the car than the report, but the mileage was last recorded 3mo the ago, so that seems legit.
  13. He has the log book and fsh etc, just find this really strange. Has anyone else got a grey one which says "silver" on the logbook or dvla vehicle checks or hpi reports? I guess I'll have to check the chassis number against the one that's linked to the reg on the car.
  14. Ok, so I've left a deposit on a Gun Metal grey car or whatever the official Nissan name is for that colour. When I have done both the reports return colour: Silver So I took the reg of a random gun metal grey zed off eBay and searched that reg. it came up as colour Grey. This has confused me? Does anyone have any ideas? Could this person have put the Reg off a silver car onto a grey car?
  15. It's a guy of this forum, username is the same as the reg number. I believe he's called Rob. At least I know there's. Zed owner/enthusiast on my door step.
  16. I went with my girlfriend to buy a car today after months of searching, she went for an Audi A1 TFSI, great little car, surprisingly quick. Anyway, the salesman asked what I had, so I replied, "I'm getting a Nissan 350z next week" which I am. Left a deposit on one yesterday. He then said, "a lad from here has just bought one" he then asked me if unwanted to go in the workshop to have a look, so of course I left my girlfriend at the sales desk and went for a quick look. Low and behold, I saw this... Anyone recognise it? ;-) Apparently it's been polished 3 times in 2 weeks :-)
  17. Your car looked and sounded great! Don't judge a book by it's cover (badge).
  18. Go for orange! Who cares if it looks like the factory 350z Orange, that's a nice colour. Also the supra in fast and furious 1 was a nice orange. Just a thought...
  19. Yea, id be interested to know. I just prefer the leather, looks better. But if it's a big hassle, I'll just buy a car with the seats already in. I've found a potential that I may be collecting next weekend. 😀
  20. Hi all! Just a quick question, I've found a few decent Zed's for sale, they all happen to have cloth interiors. I have also found some vgc leather seats at a reasonable price. My main question is this: The leather seats have all the electric functions and heated, I'm not sure about the cloth seats, but is it a plug and play job to get all the functions of the leather seats working? Thanks

    UK VS Import?

Thank you for your replies. It seems like a good shout. After reading the info on here, the only draw back I've found is that they are limited to 112mph. Is it a big/expensive job to deresteic one if it hasn't already been done? Also, without trying to go faster than 112mph, are there any ways of knowing whether it is restricted or not?

    UK VS Import?

I think it looks good. Decent price, low mileage, fsh. Just wanted to see what the general consensus was on here with regards to imports. Very new to the 350z so still reading up on them. As many on here k ow a thing or two, I just wanted to see if there was any reason why I should refrain from buying one. It seems not...
