  1. Let me know if you need any help. I work as an insurance engineer.
  2. I wouldn't be replacing those pads yet. There's loads of meat still on them. When you eventually do though, like everyone else says, do them yourself. Don't take it to Nissan, their prices are a joke.
  3. You can get the motor\pump from e bay. That's where I got mine. They are about £8.
  4. Hopefully this link works, but this shows how to get to the fusebox
  5. The fuse for the screen wash motor is in the battery tray, but you need to remove part of the scuttle trim to get to it. When I checked mine a few months ago it turned out to be the motor that was faulty. There should be a diagram on the underside of the cover so you can work out which fuse it is. There are a few videos on you tube if you search for 350z fuse box.

    Help!!!!

You will need to remove the damaged pipe. It will need to be replaced if it is split. If the unions are starting to round, your best bet would be to get lots of penetrating oil on them and get yourself some brake pipe spanners. A garage will be able to make up and flair a new pipe for you, but as Rich says, they will need the old one to get the measurements and bend points from. Hope you get it sorted.
  7. If it's flush, drill a hole down the centre then wind in a stud extractor. It might come out without you having to drill it out completely and re tap. Sometimes the simplest of jobs turn out to be the worst.
  8. I just have a standard air box.I've managed to sort it. It was the strut brace touching the plenum....Bad vibrations ! Adjusted it to give clearance and all is good now. Took it for a spin and there is definitely a gain in mid range torque. Im Impressed......nearly as good a mod as my stubby aerial
  9. Hi guys So I fitted a plenum spacer to my 03 DE. The car is sounding a lot louder. I would expect a louder induction noise from outside. But was anyone's z noticeably louder inside the car as well ?
  10. Many thanks guys. Managed to get hold of a wasso one from MikeyM. Mods, you can lock this thread now.
  11. On the lookout for a 5/16 plenum spacer for my 03 DE. Thought I would try on here first just in case anyone has one at a lower price.
  12. Pretty straight forward job as long as you take care with what you are doing. You should not need to bleed the system as you should not have to disconnect any brake pipes. From your post though, it sounds like you are changing the discs and pads on the rear. I would advise you read up on the procedure to adjust the handbrake shoes as they will probably need de adjusting to get the discs off, then re adjusting with the new discs fitted. Once you have done the brakes yourself for the first time you will probably never want to pay anyone else to do it again. This is a helpful forum so if you have any problems members are always around to help
  13. Thanks guys, but managed to get hold of a second hand one.
  14. Looking for a boot net......shopping going everywhere

Does anyone know where you can get hold of those finishers ? Mine didn't come with one and I can't find anyone in the UK that sells them.
  17. Just replaced mine. I have an 03 JDM. They are exactly the same as a UK car. There are two pumps and they are different for the front and rear, but if you only need the front You can get them on eBay for between £5 and £8. To get to it just remove the arch liner on the drivers side front. The pump that does the windscreen will be the one that is the closest to you. Just pull it out, then remove the connector. Should take you around 10 mins.
  18. So after finding out my tyre of choice is out of stock. I have now been advised that so are my rear pads. Are there any traders on here that could possibly help me out ? I need a rear set for an 03 350z ( Brembo callipers ).......my MOT is looming
  19. I know, that's where I ordered them from originally. With the discount, I got a quote for £261.14 for the rear 2 fitted ( 245/45 18 ). Absolute bargain ! I got an E-mail from them today saying they were out of stock. I need them on for next Friday as that's when my MOT expires. That's why I'm looking at alternatives form ASDA, as they are so damn cheap at the moment, I want to try and buy from them. I'll have a look at all your suggestions tonight cheers !.......I'm meant to be working
  20. So I was gutted to find out the company I ordered my tyres from are out of stock on MPSS. I'm looking at alternatives and noticed Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2. Has anyone ever tried these ? If so what do you think of them ?
  21. That's not a bad shout gilly. Halfords are walking distance from me so could leave the car there and walk to work. I'll ask them about the LSD though. I didn't know it may be an issue until I read the thread about it on here.Busy weekend for me anyway. Got some black diamond discs and pads to fit. Plus treated my car to a new set of MPSS ! Can't wait to test the new brakes out
  22. Does anyone know a good mot test station in the Halifax area that can be trusted ? When I say trusted I mean they aren't going to take my car for an 'extended road test' when they should be brake testing it as Im aware you can't put a zed in the rollers due to the LSD. Any recommendations much appreciated !
  23. Thanks Rothers. I realised that I was being a doughnut and the 292mm discs are for the non Brembo callipers
  24. Hi guys, I have an 03 JDM with brembo calipers fitted. Does anyone know what the diameter is for the rear discs off the top of their head ? Just been looking at euro car parts and there are two sizes 322 and 292 for their brembo discs. Most of the searches have come back as 322, but I want to make sure its not different for a JDM.
