  1. Great day yesterday, I wasn't on stand but came to have a look, impressive turn out no problems as a visitor getting or out so I'm sure the regular punters will all be happy too. The carpark was just as impressive as the stands inside
  2. No track days, just my daily commute along the a55
  3. Hiya! Looking to upgrade my discs to either drilled, grooved, or both. Any recommendations? Also looking for new pads Thanks Sianny
  4. This sight cheered me up as I was running a 10km in Llandudno Sunday 7th Feb, between noon and twenty past according to my mile splits
  5. I know I'm coming to the party a bit late... but ... I'm a girl!
  6. Worked a charm this morning, thanks! I've never these snazzy features on a car before
  7. My back window has got the lines which would suggest it would be! But where's the elusive button? What the bloody hell does it look like?
  8. hmm I've got the 350z roadster - there's a back window de-mister button? That definitely doesn't de-mist either but I'd assumed I'd got an electrical fault... if there's a button it might be worth me looking for that before taking in for repair
  9. From the way you're talking I would definitely get someone to do them for you. I did mine and it was not straight forward - and I got a local place to press the old bushes out and the new bushes in (cost a tenner) . Just saying Me, my boyfriend, and 2 friends did it on the driveway, so to speak. We didn't need a garage though we did make 1 call to zmanalex
  10. We've all done stupid things when we were kids. It's a tragic loss of very young lives, my thoughts are with the families of those on the quad and those 2 in the car. The survivors will have seen some really harrowing things which will be with them forever.
  11. Hiya! Would it work on dewy wing mirrors? or is it only for driving rain?
  12. I have this exact problem. 7.15 in the morning. 4.30 in the evening. My neighbours hate me.
  13. I was around Arta and Capdepera in Majorca a couple of weeks ago and you overtook me Majorca's roads are made for the 350z, you've inspired me to try and get my roadster over there for a holiday
  14. Hiya! You were rolling around roof down Black, or maybe one of those beautiful colours which look black when you pass them quickly, going West on the A55, spotted you at about 5pm in the 50 zone in Colwyn Bay. I see you fair regular and always wave but you never see me... to be fair I am on the other side of the central reservation going east to Rhyl I'm in an azure blue roadster, with my roof up
  15. Yep definitely bought the parts for both sides, he also recommended some seating cones, bought them too.
  16. I've been told there are some tricks to getting them off. I'm really hoping Trick 1 isn't "Take it to a garage"
  17. Update: Bought the parts from ZManalex will fit them on the driveway as soon as I get them There might be another thread next week
  18. eee you're all so helpful, I'll have a look through what you've suggested
  19. Had a service last week and been waiting patiently for a cost through to fix a job they said needed doing urgently. I've just chased them 9 days later and been quoted nearly £800 can someone tell me if I'm being duped: The front passenger side arm thing was no longer in / around / on the bushes? Someone called it a wishbone on the day it had a service and on the video they showed me the mechanic said that this certain thing should go around the white thing on another part, but it wasn't attached anymore and that was very bad... anyways it's now been called a Rod Complete Compression Front Suspension... because of this the inner tyre on that corner is totally worn so as soon as the part is back on the bushes I'll get a new tyre. These Rod Complete Compression Front Suspension are £256.18 + VAT and £180 for an hours work (I'm in the wrong business). Also "...if I'm doing one I may as well do both" I laughed Can anyone make sense of what the garage told me and is there a better part than the Nissan part they've quoted? Also anyone know where I should go for a good service in North Wales? I'm trying to get them to send me the video of the mechanic under my car, I'll add the link if I get it. I totally understand that everything I've written above is exactly why girls like me should have boyfriends that "do cars"
  20. Hi again Motor Direct were good for me on an Mk1 MX5 with mods, though they wanted the world for my standard 350z, might be worth giving them a call as they're a broker who go to loads of specialists. Sky were really good for us on an RX7 driven by a 31yr old man with 0 NCB (don't ask) But then we've never made a claim with any of our insurances so can't comment on what would happen if you needed them.
  21. Hiya! Adrian Flux were best for me, I'm 30 (when did that happen?!) but only have 4 NCB and totally inexperienced in powerful vehicles, my last car was a go-cart. I think if you have experience in similar vehicles there is an insurance guy who posts on here. I'll try and find him...
  22. Well ... He had some hairbrained ideas, she hated the dress but went through with it anyways, they seemed happy by the closing credits. The usual DTTB formula really
