  1. The spelling mistake in the title is driving me crazy, I must've been in Monday morning mode. Adrian, I am indeed located in Cambridge but I'm more than happy to drive far afield to a reputable company, so far I have used the Zed shed boys in Bournemouth and Mitz in Leicester, so I don't exactly shop locally Mark, I have PM'd you the details you requested.
  2. Good morning I've just ordered some BC Racing coilovers for my 06 350z and was hoping you could give me a quote to fit these, plus a full wheel balance + alignment. Many thanks Edward
  3. Absolutely stunning car and photos!
  4. Many thanks for the undertray, it looks awesome, Fab service as usual. Eddy

    DIY Vinyl Wrap

    That looks absolutely incredible!
  6. I had an Invidia Gemini fitted a few months back, it's absolutely fantastic. Lovely noise when giving it some, yet quiet as oem when sitting at motorway speed. I couldn't be happier with it.
  7. Loving this build thread, I bet the car drives so much better with all these bits getting refreshed/upgraded.
  8. This is the exact set up that I have been pondering over and think I'll be going for early next year, reviews like this really help decision making, so thanks OP. If I had one question it would be, does the car still do the GT aspect perfectly? Since I've had my Zed it's been an absolute pleasure having something with very decent performance when in the mood yet makes long journeys effortless, does having a much happier revving car remove that lazy aspect and turn it into something that wants to be on the edge all the time?
  9. The belt was put on last October time (about 2-3k miles back) by the kind folks at the Zed Shed, it had a full service and every fluid changed. I think the noise has been here since I've owned the car but because it had a horribly blowing exhaust until about 6 weeks ago when I had an Invidia system installed, I think the noise was somewhat hidden. Oil level is fine and is looking very healthy. As I mentioned above, the car sounds a bit rough right at the very top of the rev range, but this could be something else. One thing I know is that my cats are still original and the Zed shed chaps removed the heat shields as they were rattling a bit, so maybe it's time for some HFCs.
  10. Good evening guys and girls, as someone with very little mechanical knowledge I'm worried about a sound in my engine bay. There are 2 main symptoms although they could of courses be 2 separate issues and unrelated: -The rattly sound in the engine bay, almost sounds diesel-y -The engine sounds and almost feels rough right at the top of the rev range. I've added a short youtube clip of the engine bay noise,. Now whilst it's hard to diagnose a sound over the internet and through watching a video, I'm hoping someone smarter than me when it comes to engines can identify what he rattly sound could be and what I could try to fix it. One point to mention, this isn't the clutch chatter that goes away when the clutch is pressed. https://www.youtube....cneLEqCE
  11. Where exactly did you spray? I'm having this exact issue and it's driving me insane!
  12. Is it worth doing the ECU reset if I don't have a CEL on? I'm also tempted to do all the others just for the sake of refreshing everything.
  13. Ordered an Invidia system from TORQEN a week or two back, communication has been great from day one, it arrived Thursday and had it fitted yesterday, I couldn't be happier, I'll happily use him again.
  14. Having my Invidia fitted tomorrow, cannot wait
  15. Do you have the rolled stainless steel tip version in stock for the 350z?
  16. Pics? I've been thinking of what to do with the horrible orange things since day one, was hoping to not have to remove bumpers etc so spraying in situ would be ideal.
  17. Rain-x does a job, although personally I'd get one of the Nano coatings like G-tecniq / nanolex, its more expensive but lasts many months, I need to coat my windscreen soon, it makes wipers almost obsolete Completely forgot, yes, this is a must-do for any new owner, so simple and makes a massive difference. From looking at your pics in the OP you don't have the big brick that I had, but still some sort of mount, it actually looks ok but you could remove it and attach the number plate with strong double sided tape for a cleaner look Not just me then It is frustrating as there is so much I want to change and add and these maintenance things are holding me back and costing a lot of money, but that being said, once the clutch and fly are done, the exhaust is changed and I've got some good rubber on there then I'll have that piece of mind that these things are new and shouldn't need changing for a good few years. Then I can really start the modding.
  18. That's some good progress buddy, I had similar plans for the first year of my ownership, but with servicing, my exhaust breaking and my clutch about to die mine will still look pretty standard when I hit a year so I'd say you've done a fair bit so far Have you considered the rear wiper delete mod? It's free, apart from buying a 50 pence washer and makes such a big difference to the rear?
  19. Just dropped my car off at the cougar store to have a new banana arm fitted, to fix my squeaky clutch and change all the front bushes to superpros plus a wheel alignment, pretty excited
