  1. I'm looking at the engine from this crashed Zed. Does anyone know the car? http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-VQ35DE-Engine-with-Pictures-Videos-/281904182897?
  2. 4mm left on the dipstick when I topped up. Pretty sure now it was burning oil. I remember checking the level about 3 weeks before. 2/3 full then and it hasn't leaked
  3. Nice one. I looked at the rebuild packs from the states so glad to know they do the job if I do go down that route
  4. Aha, you'll be in a better position then to confirm the costs involved Waiting for a quote from Japex at the moment. How much is this rebuild setting you back roughly?
  5. Thanks Bradders. I'll be leaving this one to trusted professionals. Time is not on my side!
  6. Car needs to be back on the road asap, it's my daily. Would genuinely welcome the challenge if i had the time and space. All I can do is cautiously throw money at this one
  7. Guess a rebuild makes sense if affordable Better do some research!
  8. Thanks Adrian. What cost would I be looking at for a rebuild compared to a second hand engine? Japex have advised I just get hold of a new lump
  9. Well I royally fudged up and let my beloved zed run low on oil thought I had dodged a bullet by topping up just in time... 2 weeks later and the bottom end starts knocking. Gutted to say the least! Anyway, putting the feelers out for a well maintained and low mileage DE engine if anyone can help. Thanks
  10. I'm in Confirm list: 1. AdrianL - Z33 2. michael93-z33 3. GrahameJ - Z33 Fairladyz 4. ZedManTID - Z33 Fairlady 5. 6. 7.
  11. I'm interested in the combo when back in if your going to offer again?
  12. Thanks for the pic Grundy, took a ton myself and your one shot trumps them all!
  13. Would be nice if it was Either way I would say no 350z is worth 50k or 150k
  14. Saw this a couple of weeks ago and laughed my ass off. Its not even that nice! If anyones interested I'll take £50k for my 52 plate. Why the low price you ask... well, it wasn't in a film
  15. The lights come with a 6 pin connector regardless and are not auto levelling, you will lose that function. With regard to legailty, I don't think it is illegal to not have it when they can be adjusted manually. I went for the preinstalled HIDs as compatibility was a concern. Safe bet I'd say is to go for the preinstalled HIDs as we know the lights will arrive in a plug and play state for a JDM car. If your 350 is a UKDM the original 8 pin connector can be swapped over/rewired to replace the 6 pin and they will become plug and play. Hope this helps
  16. Thanks for the input KyleR. Now you mention the auto levelling its all coming back to me! They are not for the washers Sorry guys!!
  17. Same, my JDM had HIDs and no washers when I got it but i went for the preinstalled setup offered by the seller and removed the OEM ballasts. The Halos and DRLs work off the sidelights but you can always rewire to a seperate switch
  18. Grundy, I've bought Harryjax tickets of you want to update the list
  19. so it sounds from that, the headlight washers wouldn't work after the conversion? That i can't answer bud as my JDM never had them
  20. I had halos on a mk4 escort back on the day and loved them since. Gives any car a bit more character imo. Do it....
