  1. Cheers. So the equivalent of my Brilliant Silver then.
  2. Still relatively new to this 350z and 370z stuff, so can I ask what colour Blade is?
  3. Whichever one I'm driving
  4. I declared my Cobra cat-back to Admiral, cost next to nothing - around £20 extra on the premium for the year. Obviously this doesn't include their ridiculous admin charge... And glad you're happy with it nissanman - I knew you'd made the right choice!
  5. Finally an acknowledgment! Big wave from the yellow 370 driver, I was concentrating on avoiding stone chips from the untarmac'ed road, but managed a last minute thumbs up and wave.
  6. First 370z I've seen in Nottingham since picking mine up! Driving down London Road about 5.30 evening on Saturday.
  7. Glad you've finally found a system you're happy with nissanman, I'm sure you won't regret it. A couple of months into ownership and I sure as hell don't - it's still making me smile on every trip I make. Look forward to follow up posts from both of you once fitted.
  8. I need to perfect this, in my excitement mine are normally more like this...
  9. I absolutely love it. Want.
  10. I was in a silver coupe passing through Knutsford on Sunday morning - didn't get any flashes or waves though. I'd definitely wave back!
  11. Lovely. Good choice of tips too. Happy with the noise?
  12. Look great in the photos - good job. What's the finish like up close? And is Plastidip generally hard enough wearing for wheels?
  13. I'd be more than happy if it was! Especially as I'm pretty sure I got zapped on the A50 at the weekend...
  14. Looks great mate. I honestly don't notice any drone on mine, and I've already clocked up around 1000 miles with it, mostly on motorways but also plenty around town. It's bedding in nicely too, making a great rasping noise in second and third when being pushed. And just to add, I know about drone. I had a Clio 172 some years ago with a Powerflow exhaust. You couldn't even have a conversation with a passenger when cruising on the motorway, and the stereo was pretty much defunct. Was still fun mind...
  15. Both today, Thursday. The one in Holmes Chapel was bodykitted and around 2 pm - gave them a thumbs up and got a very strange look back. The one in Hale, later, probably 7 pm...
  16. Whereabouts in the Midlands are you nissanman?
  17. I thought this was just me not using the button properly.
  18. Yesterday evening, around 7 pm. Went past the Cornerhouse a couple of times and sounded awesome.
  19. They are huge - but if you can't have massive pipes on the back of a fast Nissan then when can you! And yes, I was very keen on them not sticking out too far and so am very happy - a bit of a pet hate of mine.
  20. They're 5" slash cut. Go big or go home Here's the sound clip as promised - you'll need headphones and the volume turned up...
  21. I've got before and after start-up clips on my phone - I'll try to join them together and post them today. Not going to be the best quality unfortunately but watch this space... I honestly can't rate the sound highly enough. It's loud, but not too loud - certainly enough to turn heads when starting up at the petrol station - but not so much that everyone's turning their heads to see who's coming from a mile off. And like I said, when you're just cruising along at 80 or 90 on the motorway there's no drone at all, just a deeper warble than stock.
  22. Around 11am Saturday morning. Firstly a black 370z with black wheels, between junctions 19 and 20. And then a convertible black 350z five minutes benhind it, also northbound.
  23. And you Mick. Got to love slash cut - here's a better view...
  24. So I've only managed a month of zed ownership on the stock system. I popped in to see Mick at Cougar Store yesterday and had the full Cobra system fitted - what a difference it makes, worth every penny. Sounds absolutely brilliant on start-up and on when hammering it, but cruising along at 80-90 in 6th you wouldn't really know you weren't on an OEM system - there's no drone at all. And my god it brings the synchrorev to life, slipping it down into second is now a joy, I'll never tire of the noise. Huge thanks to Mick @ Cougar who made the whole process a piece of cake - and thanks to forum member naz2k5 for helping me make the decision Here's some pics (first couple borrowed from Cougar Store). I'll try to sort some audio clips too...
  25. I emailed and tweeted them back in January about it, they ignored both. Let me know if they respond...
