  1. Cheers guys! We did wittle it down to maybe the flywheel wasnt timed up and ir not on correctly. It starts most times after a few seconds but squeals and squeeks and you can smell a heated metal smell. I just kinda feel like i should give it to someone else and pay them to do it but i kniw alot of people are fussy when it comes to fixing other peoples mistakes. One thing i can get it into gear and i am able to drive it backwards and firwards before it bogs down and cuts out. It took us about 4 hours to get the box out and change everything over but we spent a total of 9 hours with all the chatting eating etc.. The box was a major struggle to get back on, after about the 400th time of turning the splines it went to about half a cm away and we done it up with the bolts. Ive got no help today so cant have another look. It was hard enough doing it 2ft off the ground one great acheivement is that we was left with 0 spare bolts which i have never managed before ha! I dont mind bunging someone a couple quid if they wanted to help but i cant even drive it to another garage now as its undrivable. Fml.
  2. Absolutely ****ed it. So pi**ed off. Please someone do it. Only just finished 4am!!! Put it all together and its making some ****ed up noises and wont idle at all sits at like 100rpm then cuts out. Just wanna bin it caused me nothing but @*!# since day 1.
  3. Sounds awesome cheers dude!

  7. Wish i could drift lol looks fun!
  8. Bit late now lol, will need to buy some this afternoon, is it 80w/90?
  9. Sounds good, Hey its a friday night, i will work into saturday evening if i have to haha! Can anyone reccomend which gearbox oil i need?
  10. Cant 'pay' a visit to anyone lol. Car is barely drivable now, slips through all gears i went ace cafe and back in it last week and cant touch over 40mph lol it just slips all the way round.
  11. As some of you may know my situation with my recent sucker purchase and the clutch going on the way home i've decided i'd rather do the work myself than pay someone else to do it, not because im selfish but because i saved several months to buy the car, now had to spend another £600 on parts almost so i'd rather save another few hundred quid. Ok so i'm going to take on the challenge of doing my own clutch tonight, I've changed a clutch once before and that was on my Honda del sol B16, pretty straight forward. I'm not mechanically shy and have a full set of useful tools, i've found a guide on 'how to' on a 350z tech page and considering i turbo'd my old honda from start to finish using a step by step guide on 'how to' lol they seem to work pretty well for me! So i'll be doing the new clutch and the lightened flywheel there was suppose to be several volunteers to lend a hand, 2 which have dropped out this morning, madmike from here is coming to lend a hand at least thats one person with a zed lol. Just kinda want any ifs and buts, do's and dont's kinda thing. anything to look out for, im pretty heavy handed and a professional at snapping bolts haha, muscle over mind is my problem. Any help would be kindly and much appreciated, if anyone is feeling a little lonely or bored tonight and would enjoy shouting at a gearbox (i can only assume thats how it will end lol) feel free to come over to my garages and lend a hand! or if anyone has a ramp anywhere that is going spare that too would be amazing! I'm located in the ghetto, East London, however, my garages are very safe and i can assure you noone will steal your wheels!! Again thanks in advance for any info. Brad
  12. Think it would have looked nice without the holes but kept the Z looks like a good job though!
  13. Yup, i did mine with auto glym ultra deep shine and its smothered in dust!!
  14. It makes it look 100 x better!
  15. Nah its ok for a quick fix!
  16. Was ok, should have used some tfr really would have been better the shine application was a bit poor, it dried straight away and left smears so i used a bit of dash shine to spruse it up lol
  17. Beautiful colour zed!!!

  19. But then those who dont add a price or picture then suffer 3 months down the line when the item is still in their possession and they are wondering why it wont sell lol.
  20. Being just 24 my first car was a corsa and i ruined it but painting it a white/blue pearl, like how you see the vespas these days, i put 2k worth of bodykit on it (only paid £150 for the car) it looked hideous, great at the time, 1.2 8v 44bhp! used to try race everything, sold it to a friend for £900, he wrote it off within a week. sad times
  21. That looks very plush! great work!
  22. AS above, says sports cat lol? assume it was HFC
  23. Proper driving no, never been on a euro trip etc although i'd love too!
