    Hi Jon, I fitted a pioneer to our Zed recently.

     

    The connections A, B, C need to be connected together, this will power your aerial amp and switch on command for the Bose amplifier.

     

    I can't really see where D is coming from from in your picture but I guess it is probably for your steering controls interface?

    It wouldn't surprise me actually. He has described McLaren as his "childhood family home" and said he sees going to Mercedes as a kid leaving home, but some kids do move back in ;)

     

    That said Mercedes were a big part of his childhood sponsorship package by McLaren so maybe Mercedes is just as natural for him.

     

    It was a big jump to move, and fair play to take it. I hope he gets comfortable In the car this year and we see some of the flair in his driving that first made me a bit of a fan :)

    Was a fun afternoon (well, as fun as it can be ripping an engine out if your own car!). Car now looks pretty sorry for herself sat in the corner.

     

    Onwards and upwards! :) bring on the caravans

     

    You'll have more satisfaction driving it again, knowing the work you've put in yourself :)

    My mrs uses hers everyday, she does a 25 mile commute so at least 50 miles per day, plus any social outings. She does sometimes take my 118d, but the zed is still used by me those days :D

    That's fantastic value. I had the same work done to my girlfriends car when she bought it and paid £800 which seemed reasonable for what I was getting. You have a bargain there though! Don't forget to protect it with AutoGlym or similar

    Welcome! Is there anyone on here who would let you drive theirs? Or find one for sale as local as possible and go for a drive. Have Aldershot nissan got any?

     

    I'm in Camberley so not far from you...only a 350z tho, I'm afraid so can't be much help
