I do agree actually, just don't know much about the turbo or ecu setup for these cars.
I notice you sold your 911, have you got something else lined up?

Yeah I guess so!
How come your not going with the map that's already with the turbo kit?

Sounds pretty good, bet you can't wait.
Thanks for asking about the cage. In a perfect world I'd get the full cage but cost is the main issue at ~£1200 fitted. Like you say, it's a cheap bit of fun so not really in the spirit of it.
Won't the rear screen be noisey? Sounds interesting!...

Got the car back Dan?

Can you please ask them? I don't want a full race cage. Thanks!

No worries I'll let you know what happens. My car isn't going to him untill end of September / start of October so it will be toward end of year anyway
-
I'm the same, I removed soft top and only run hardtop.
Mines costing £350, so that would be the maximum I guess. If he got lots of sales it may be cheaper, I'll talk to him about it

Lewis has shown that he is the quickest of the pair though. Rosberg is smart and quick but Lewis has the edge, he is a better racer and they know it. The situation can't continue though-something has to give.
Until this weekend it did look like they favoured rosberg but toto and Nikki have been quite open with putting the blame on his side, which was a surprise!
The booing at Spa for rosberg was worse than it seemed on tv, but the applause and general appreciation of what Ricardo is doing was also more than came across, he's a popular winner

Good stuff!
Yeah, always fancied it myself, should suit the roadster.
Would you be Interested in a roll bar like this
I'm having one made and seeing if people are interested
-
When will it be ready? Problems?
I'm doing Cadwell park in October, Goodwood later this month
-
Did you make the track day in a turbo roadster?!
-
Haha yeah, poor lad. He'll be hitching a ride to the next one

Max and the "Missus" on the way to Spa, no private plane, just Eurostar.
Me on the way to spa... No euro star, just a ferry

Haha! Showing your age now

Yup, Rogue are doing the lot. No mapping though, but the tune I'm pinching is a very safe one for a 1ZZ.
All bled with engine on, very odd. That is, until today when Patrick pointed out the leak between master cylinder and booster when I dropped the car off Ah well, easy fix and they can sort that for me too.
Very strange, but at least an easy fix. Bet your looking forward to taking it out!
-
Right, car is back with me now and the brakes are... better. Not perfect, but they're better. Apparently they're just full of air, and given that I've bled them multiple times, the local Jag specialist has bled them multiple times, and now my local Pork specialist has bled them multiple times, then that's a lot of air! Never had this issue before across multiple '2s, so it's a bit weird. PSR Automotive have done a great job in getting them better, and also giving it a go for me when they're snowed under with work on proper cars. Hopefully the brakes will get fixed for sure when the car goes to Rogue tomorrow, as they're MR2 specialists.
Rouge fitting the turbo?
What did you originally do to the brakes changed calipers?
I'm not trying to tell you how to suck eggs because I'm certain you know more about these cars than I do; but have you bled them with the engine running?
I did calipers, hoses and new fluid on mine and despite many attempts, the only way I got them fully bled and nice firm pedal was with the engine running.

Time, more than anything. I will miss not doing it myself, but these days I'd rather drive it than faff around fitting stuff. Must be getting old, I reckon.
I know the feeling!

turbo conversion in a weekend? that's shifting some! hope you get it sorted in time for Bedford, i'm interested to see how fast it is! you've still got a passenger seat in it right?
our BM is prepped and ready! and by that I mean, the tyres have been inflated to the correct pressure, and it has some petrol in it - lets roll!
They're actually doing the conversion in a single day, which for a proper garage isn't too hard. We used to do them in a long day in a garage as a bunch of amateurs! Pax ride more than welcome matey, still got the stock seat in.
Stu, I don't think it's that they wouldn't cover me as such, more that they wouldn't cover such a drastic power increase. I can see their point and clearly it's just a rule of the underwriter, but I'm just glad that someone would take a punt. Also fair play to Nicola at A-Plan, she spent a good while this afternoon sorting it all out for me, back and forth with phone calls.
Why aren't you fitting it yourself?! Lazy begger

I'm going to be pedantic now, but shouldn't you be a member of the Delorean owners club as you posted on 19th Aug 2014,
Are you drunk?!
