  1. I'd be tempted to join in but mine will be SORN by then Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Great stuff, what power and torque did it make? Nippy run around CTR is a good choice, but when I "downsized" from a nice car (M3) I went for a diesel; 123d in my case, if your going to go sensible for a while, you might as well make the most of it! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. If you see the roadster wave cos my mrs will probably be driving and she loves it when other zed owners wave at her! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I do agree actually, just don't know much about the turbo or ecu setup for these cars. I notice you sold your 911, have you got something else lined up? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah I guess so! How come your not going with the map that's already with the turbo kit? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I work in farnborough (although rarely in the zed) but never seen either of you guys! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Sounds pretty good, bet you can't wait. Thanks for asking about the cage. In a perfect world I'd get the full cage but cost is the main issue at ~£1200 fitted. Like you say, it's a cheap bit of fun so not really in the spirit of it. Won't the rear screen be noisey? Sounds interesting!... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Got the car back Dan? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Can you please ask them? I don't want a full race cage. Thanks!
  10. No worries I'll let you know what happens. My car isn't going to him untill end of September / start of October so it will be toward end of year anyway
  11. I'm the same, I removed soft top and only run hardtop. Mines costing £350, so that would be the maximum I guess. If he got lots of sales it may be cheaper, I'll talk to him about it
  12. Lewis has shown that he is the quickest of the pair though. Rosberg is smart and quick but Lewis has the edge, he is a better racer and they know it. The situation can't continue though-something has to give. Until this weekend it did look like they favoured rosberg but toto and Nikki have been quite open with putting the blame on his side, which was a surprise! The booing at Spa for rosberg was worse than it seemed on tv, but the applause and general appreciation of what Ricardo is doing was also more than came across, he's a popular winner
  13. Good stuff! Yeah, always fancied it myself, should suit the roadster. Would you be Interested in a roll bar like this I'm having one made and seeing if people are interested
  14. When will it be ready? Problems? I'm doing Cadwell park in October, Goodwood later this month
  15. Did you make the track day in a turbo roadster?!
  16. Haha yeah, poor lad. He'll be hitching a ride to the next one
  17. Me on the way to spa... No euro star, just a ferry
  18. Very strange, but at least an easy fix. Bet your looking forward to taking it out!
  19. Rouge fitting the turbo? What did you originally do to the brakes changed calipers? I'm not trying to tell you how to suck eggs because I'm certain you know more about these cars than I do; but have you bled them with the engine running? I did calipers, hoses and new fluid on mine and despite many attempts, the only way I got them fully bled and nice firm pedal was with the engine running.
  20. They're actually doing the conversion in a single day, which for a proper garage isn't too hard. We used to do them in a long day in a garage as a bunch of amateurs! Pax ride more than welcome matey, still got the stock seat in. Stu, I don't think it's that they wouldn't cover me as such, more that they wouldn't cover such a drastic power increase. I can see their point and clearly it's just a rule of the underwriter, but I'm just glad that someone would take a punt. Also fair play to Nicola at A-Plan, she spent a good while this afternoon sorting it all out for me, back and forth with phone calls. Why aren't you fitting it yourself?! Lazy begger
