  1. Oh right, just as it used to be then, I'm sure something changed when they introduced the new tax law?
  2. I`m no expert but I would definitely say keep as is. Buyers always want and expect to get a car cheaper than the advertised price ! Yeh, I'l keep as is. I've just had a new thought, If I lease a cheap eco car rather than buying one, I could keep hold of the zed until summer, then sell it for abit more. What are the laws on insurance/tax, it used to be as long as its SORN then there was no need to insure or tax it but I think they might have changed it recently, any idea?
  3. Its only been up for sale for over a week, I'm just very impatient, I've had interest just no one seems serious. I was actually the same, I bought the car in december myself.
  4. Is it best to lower the price to what Im actually expecting to take but state no offers, or keep the price as it is and expect several hundred quid being knocked off? I'd imagine if I lowered it, the offers would just get lower as well.
  5. I'll change the picture and restructure the add, but I can't answer where the exhaust was fitted as it was done by the 2nd owner, surely the correct tyre size is a given, can't answer the service question either as I've only owned the car for just over a year, I'll rewrite the add and put as much info in as I can.
  6. Yeh the time of year really doesn't help but holding onto it isn't really an option, it needs replacing with something more economical sharpish, or its the train for me
  7. How long does it take from start to finish? I need to start detailing but it always looks like a weekend killer.
  8. Must ... resist ... spamming...
  9. I might be the only person who doesn't mind the 80's ariel, need 6 more posts before I can post on here
  10. How does 7.1 work in headphones? Surely its always stereo?
  11. I've sold many cars in the last few years, its never been to much trouble, one or two tyre kickers then someone buys. But I've had so many complete idiots phone and text me about my zed, does the car attract numptys (no offence) , I had one gentleman ask me how many owners it had, when I replied I'm the 4th he said Im looking for a car with one, one owner! for an 11 year old car. I've currently got it advertised on Autotrader & Pistonheads, unfortunately I've not got enough posts to sell on here. Im not sure if its allowed in the forum rules but heres my adverts: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201412139628645/sort/default/maximum-mileage/up_to_70000_miles/make/nissan/model/350_z/usedcars/postcode/nr189nd/page/1/radius/1500/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/colour/grey?logcode=p http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/350z/nissan-350-z-v6--------------------2004/3185705 Any pointers to make it more appealing? Cheers, Liam.
  12. Why have I chosen to sell my car now
  13. Not technically a car but a Vauxhall Combo, no seat height or wheel adjustment so its impossible to turn the wheel without shuffling like a learner.
  14. I bought some from Nissan last week for £1.75 each!!! 39p each is a bargain.
  15. Have 4 on my car, completely transformed the way it drives, numerously times voted the best wet tyre available, the reason I bought them for the rwd zed.
  16. I would be worried about the price of lpg going up, I also read lpg filling stations have halved in the last few years, plus I doubt many people will buy a converted zed when its time to sell, to many negatives for me.
