Most have said hello as I was a potential owner but any excuse to show off my new purchase
OK so here we go . Couple of little problems , the oil pressure gauge isnt working , no way the engine would run as well if it was actually at 0 psi on hot idle so I need to investigate that
Two rear tyres needed pretty soon as only 3mm left , but the Skyline needed new ones as well so nothing lost there
The air filters (yes two) were choked with leaves so popped up to Hdev and got a new pair , changed the oil as well , since i have the vac pump it only takes a few mins so seemed prudent
The idle is a bit flaky ie it revs too high , this could be a problem or could just be a sign of the lack of use the car got before , it seems to be getting better it was idling at 1500rpm , its now at about 800-900 but it should be 650rpm
Spent over a day cleaning it , my usual routine of claying , polishing with the rotary and then two coats of Supernatural hybrid. Interior washed with soapy water and then dressed when dry

Rimwax has a stupid name, but it is pretty damn good. The other thing I'd use would be FK1000P, although you need more prep with that stuff but it'll last a year.
Personally I don't bother any more, I just use some Espuma Revolution, which brings the wheels up a treat every time.
My thoughts , exactly , tried that Gtech stuff found it no better than rimwax or fk1000p so went back to those , the plus side is that 1000p works well on the rest of the car as well

Reflection shots have little to do with the wax/sealant and everything to do with the polishing before hand, if you arent getting those kind of results after polishing you wont after adding a coat of wax
All LSP do effect the final finish , waxes can make it look warmer and sealants can make it shine more deeply
I've have cupboards full of detailing stuff , literally dozens of sealants and waxes let alone polishes but there are two polishes and two waxes I wouldnt be without , the rest could go
Personally I find some of Dodo stuff to be tricky to use and often over rated , people follow the crowd , someone mentioned Colli 476 earlier thats an excellent product can get great results with it and it lasts forever also Colli 845 is great as well both sensibly priced as well
This is Dodo supernatural hybrid
Colli 845
Colli 476s on a mates Jag
MG ZS
This is Zaino (Sealant)

It's not bad just not as good as driving steady

If you need a buffer to remove it , you are using too much product. This is the mistake most people make
Also a fan of supernatural , but prefer the hybrid sealant/wax mix , gives a great gloss

Big fan of the eibach springs , fitted some on my Evo and then on my brand new daily when it only had 800 miles on.

Very nice Keyser, love the green and black , my daily drive has a similar colour scheme
A graph of one of my old bikes , with and without a small nos kit
This is one of the R.I.P.S cars , graphically shows the impact of nitrous on spool
This is one of my old customers cars , this is how it looks when you flat line a dyno
Not hugely impressive but it was on this
Managed to get a 1700kilo plus grandad car into the 13's :)

Thanks for the offer, very kind , got a couple of HR's to look at first

The only bottle I ever heard of failing was where the owner had removed the burst disc (safety valve) and fitted a pressure gauge in its place , a faulty bottle heater resulted in him losing his car and most of his garage !
I've seen a few burst discs go though , that's quite dramatic but harmless apart from the underwear change
Ahh found a pic of the car whose bottle exploded !
HR engine oil pressure gauge reads low
