  1. when you get to my age you'll realise what the important things in life are , I love my car and beer and those who know me know that. :puke: MTFU maaaaaaaaan merry christmas, im happy youre happy, but at least pretend the beer, or your car, or the presents made you happy!! stop being a lady garden!!
  2. Oh that brings back memories of this summer Great pics bud
  3. Glad you're enjoying it buddy, knew you would, don't forget what I said about pix Mine would have to be the love I get from mrs glrnet and her girls, if you told me 7 years ago I could be this happy I wouldn't have believed you, 6 years ago I met mrs glrnet and this year we got married. I am soooooo proud. Sorted!!!!
  4. +1 with regards the tram lining, test drove one before I bought the Zed, it was the car I was going to buy until that point although maybe "tramlines like a slag whore from hell" maybe not be strictly accurate, I thought it was worse than that Seriously, it was the one big thing that put me off the car, best advice I can give is test drive it asap, the "M" might be better of course Kiss my weiner! Based on the fact your talking about a better handling , faster, torqueier car, than mine i'll put it in some perspective.....its as fast as a zed, better equipt than a zed, handles better than the zed, easier to drive than the zed, cheaper to run, some would say better looking and just as well built. That said the zed pisses all over it but still its a real nice moter for the money. I'm well happy with it. Bad points; - could do with some sound proofing in the doors - tramlines like a slag whore from hell. - bonnet is so long you could land a harrier jump jet on it. - alloys will be or will soon corrode (good excuse for a refurb though) Aside from the zed.....best car I have ever driven (and that's only because I've got rose tinted glasses for the zed)
  5. I didn't want to post this in the Zmanalex appreciation thread as I think this warrants a bit more attention. We all know how efficient Alex is when he's providing us with Nissan and Nissan related goodies but I wanted you guys to know that when things go wrong he's also a top banana Some of you will know that earlier this year I had an issue with a flywheel supplied by the "in stock and good to go" wizard, sorry Alex, couldn't resist Anyway, to cut a very long story short Alex has been fighting my corner with the manufacturer by badgering them with endless emails and phone calls. I'm very pleased and grateful for the professional and forthright manner in which Alex has battled on my behalf which has culminated in a very satisfactory outcome. Thanks Alex, it was above the level of customer service we often come across nowadays and I am a happy bunny
  6. Right you lot, this is Joy's Great Nephew Ashley he is now 7, six months ago he could walk. Unfortunately he had a cancerous growth on his spine which was detected too late. Now he is paralysed from the waist down and is undergoing chemo. He is such a cheeky little live wire, even now with what he his going through. When they gave him his wheelchair the first thing he said to his big brother Connor was "you're not scooting that down the path on two wheels on my chair". Their dad Craig is a British soldier and the army have been absolutely brilliant converting the house for Ashley and as a family they are so together. I have it on good authority that nothing would make the boys happier this Christmas than for as many people to watch their vids on You Tube as possible, so please go and have a quick peek, it won't take long, won't cost a penny and will make a young family very happy indeed. Thank you. Ashley:- Connor:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIyPlkdZ ... uHR1WCF3D6
