Not sure whether that video is horrifying, hilarious or a little of both. Thinking of making "Less than an ideal situation" my new work catchphrase though.

The walk from the centre of Washington to the cathedral is pretty impressive, as is the cathedral itself. The walk talks you past all the embassies, which are fun to compare. As you would expect, all the big economic players have huge mansions and generally the smaller the country the smaller the embassy but ever now and again you'll walk past one palatial mansion that will belong to a tiny third world country that you've only ever heard of as an answer on Pointless.
Again, if you are into your buildings the Cathedral is worth a visit on its own. I went to join in with their bell ringers and they were kind enough to take me right to the top of the tower, which, with its height combined with the fact the cathedral sits on top of a hill offered the most amazing views across Washington. If you're not odd enough to be a bell ringer than I think you can book tour trips up the tower.
It's not huge but the national museum of crime and punishment is good way to pass a few hours as well if you have an odd morning or afternoon to kill a few hours in.
Lastly, as a big baseball fan it would be a miss of me not to mention the Washington Nationals, who are (sadly) one of the better teams in baseball at the moment. If you have the time and you've never been to a baseball game I'd recommend giving it a go. It's a completely different experience to visiting sporting grounds in the UK. In New York you've got the choice of the Yankees or the Mets (both impressive stadiums). During the week the games generally start in the evenings as well, so you can explore the city during the day and catch a game in the evening.

Anyone else travelling up on the Friday and staying somewhere nearby? Booked into the Holiday Inn Express in Milton Keynes on the Friday as figured it was a bit far to drive from Plymouth on the Saturday morning!

Silver 350Z turning off the A386 towards Bickleigh.

Never understood it either. I don't get why people spend a fortune on tickets to live events (specially ones being covered on TV) to then spend the whole time watching it from behind a lens! Why not enjoy the moment live and record the highlights on TV for when you get home?

On an early shift on the 21st so can't do that day. If there is enough interest on another day I'd be up for it.

Hello from another Plymouth owner There are a few Zeds in Plymouth but not many soft tops though so will keep an eye out for yours. Give a wave if you see a silver coupe with a reg plate starting F1

Walked past a blue 350z convertible in the Plymouth Life Centre carpark on the way to my zed Seeing more 350s in Plymouth then when I got mine 4 years ago but not seen this one before.

Welcome from another Plymouth Z owner! Will keep an eye out for yours. Mine's a blade silver 04 model with a distinctive cherished number plate. Between it and the how few Zs there are around I can't go anywhere without being spotted!

Sounds like what my parents do, when ever they have something old/broken they want rid off they leave it in the front garden and its usually gone within 24 hours. Bizarrely, when they leave a note on it along the lines of 'free to a good home' it lasts longer! Guess stuff must be more fun if you've dishonestly appropriated it.

If it was a Nismo it could be Shenley who lives the wrong side of the bridge! Not aware of any native red 370zeds in Plymouth.

As someone that works in one of the public sector areas she has ran into the ground as Home Secretary I can't say I am too excited about the prospect, although as mentioned, she is sadly the most credible candidate. Hopefully take at least a couple of years for her to sort out selling my job to G4S with the Brexit mess she has to sort out first

Spotted a couple of Zeds on the Saturday in the Launceston area.
1- White 370Z looked like a NISMO but only caught a glimpse of it as it drove past! A395 just outside Hallworthy. Didn't wave as wan't in the Zed at the time, was stuck in a Vauxhall Astra
2- Blue 350Z parked at the Kindred Spirits festival at North Petherwin.

Waved to a silver 350Z with burgandy soft top on the A386 just past the Dartmoor Diner Tuesday afternoon

Entered the ballot but didn't get a spot. Ran the Bristol to Bath marathon last year and signed up for the Milton Keynes Marathon this year (supposed to be very flat ), which is the May Day bank holiday. Will probably do a second one later in the year as well, either Bristol to Bath again or Snowdonia!

Sod all because I have twins that will be born so all man plans are screwed for 2016, 2017, 2018......lol
As a twin I'd say you've been blessed, my parents would probably disagree
Not got any plans for this year really. Itched my zeditus a small amount last year with the standard mods: fitting of a plenum spacer, air intake and exhaust as well as having to replace the clutch. I now find myself trying to be a 'grown-up' and save for a mortgage deposit
