  1. Just seen one near the lights at the junction and one a bit further up the road! Both looked pretty clean, unlike mine which had lots of dust spots all over it
  2. Is that hydro dipped mate?
  3. Sweet. I can't be arsed doing it myself personally, especially by myself! So bought 3 bottles just to be safe. Thanks mate, Adrian
  4. Sweet. Cheers mate. 3 bottles of this stuff will do then? http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-893-motul-dot-51-brake-fluid-long-life-100-synthetic.aspx
  5. Apologies if answered before, but not getting solid answers! How much fluid do I need for a change, and what would you recommend? It's got some Motul 5.1 in at the moment, and would like to keep 5.1 in (but what brand?) as I will be taking it to the track in a few months. Ta Adrian

    Cats brace

Nice one. Cheers guys. Any update Chris?
  7. Hmm, the o2 sensor ones have gone thanks to the remap. I know the car isn't running lean as it was just mapped and the fueling looks fine on the graphs, so it must be the sensor? :S

    Cats brace

Does anyone have a brace for the OEM cat's they'd like to sell? for a 350z. Thanks, Adrian
  10. You don't remember what the code was do you?
  11. Decats? If so that supports the brace issue mentioned before HFCs and not sure, they cracked along the seam just like in your pic, got the, welded up and they were fine Thanks Well the bloody CEL came back on today!! Did a few shorter trips without a light after the remap, but did 75 miles this weekend on the motorway, and when I started it up again the CEL came back on after a bit. This time the code is P1273 - no other codes but that one. Could it be related to the crack in the welds?
  12. Decats? If so that supports the brace issue mentioned before
  13. Sweet. Will deffo find an exhaust place to weld them up Got it mapped at RS tuning in Leeds. Definitely happy with the gains!! Engine mods are: Injen air intake with kinetix upper plenum (filter is located behind front bumper) Borla high flow headers High flow cats HKS full stainless cat back Engine grounding kit Think that's it. It was running 265bhp before the map, so it lost a few horses over the years.
  14. I don't unfortunately. I was thinking of getting the crack welded. Could a bracket be welded on? No idea if the original brace is on, I guess not.
  15. Got the car MOT'ed and mapped today. Before map was 265bhp and after 293.8bhp so pretty happy! However they mentioned that both high flow cats are cracked. Is this a common issue for HFC's? or is it just the ones I have are crap? (no idea what brand). Not leaking yet fortunately but need to sort!. Cheers! Adrian
  16. I think a lot of Citroen's styling over the past 10 years has been pretty decent to be fair. Still probably wouldn't buy one though.
  17. Very nice! I have one myself... comes in useful when you drop a tool down in to the under trays!!
  18. Sweet. I'll put it on my low list of priority things to do then
  19. I'll have to ring round some factors tomorrow as I'm not finding much online unfortunately I have a grounding kit installed, and haven't noticed any whining... so are there any ill-effects from leaving it?
  20. Got a link? Googling brings up stuff to connect behind the radio, rather than at the alternator.
  21. Is it a voltage regulator? Edit: Hmm maybe not after looking at this video:
  22. What's the part actually called? Googling for "Alternator Damper" doesn't bring up much. Can't see anything on Eurocarparts either? Thanks
  23. Cheers guys good to know what it is. What can I do with regards to repairing it? Can I actually get the part separately? how can I attach something that has been sheared off like that? Thanks
  24. Is it OK not being connected for now then? I could do with finding a replacement or some how re-attaching it to the metal bracket though..
