The Xtreme kit we sell for the DE models has been designed to minimise the idle chatter, its still present but is quieter than some other setups that I have tried over the years.

If you plan on driving the car hard then a SMF is a great upgrade and the small amount of noise you get won't be a worry.

I've just changed the clutch fluid.

It still only slips at low revs (between 2 and 4 thousand RMP) then kinds grips again and pulls away.

Looks like it's new clutch time! Any recommendations for a kit suitable for fast road?

Is your car an HR like the OPs?

im going to be upgrading my discs and pads in February time so looking for a deal. bought some goodridge lines on the last group buy. Is this a good deal??? looked on the clark website and the discs are £215, pads are £80 so thats £295.......£15 cheaper then the package deal???

Hi I think you must be looking at different pads possibly for the JDM Zeds with non Brembo calipers? The Hawk PC pads for the Brembo equipped Zeds are £112.24 on our website so this deal saves members £17 plus the retail will rise for the discs on the 1st of January but we will be keeping the price at £215 a pair

The concentric slave cylinder is a known weak point on the HR, do you know if the fluid has been changed recently?

The overall weight of the kit is 19.3 KG for the 200mm Twin Sprung

200mm Sprung Ceramic Vs 230mm Organic

The 200mm Sprung is of Ceramic material and paddle type configuration so this is an advantage for track applications and disadvantage in traffic. However the Sprung hub design on this kit does compensate for some of the load and is a compromise for both combined track and street use. The pedal feel is light and fairly quite in operation. Some extra RPM would be required over the organic style kit. As twins go this is very silent in operation. Good for both street and track.

The 230mm Organic is ideal for street use, it offers Zero judder and feels exactly like an OEM upon take up and because of its unique full face disc is almost silent in operation. As with all SMF conversions some added transmission noise will be heard which is kept to a minimum as Xtreme offer the optimum weight of Chromoly Flywheel to reduce this. Making this the most silent twin plate we have heard. This is very much a street kit, and can be used for light track work however this would need to be carefully monitored not to overheat the Organic material.

The 200mm Twin Ceramic is rated to 880+ lb/ft if you have the DE engine.

Thats the owners car I believe its up for sale. they do top work I've had a few things done by them now.

Due to BT Openreach's incompetence we currently have no landline, we are working hard to have this resolved.

Thankfully we have satellite internet so PM's and emails will still get picked up and would the quickest way to get through to use currently.
