  1. Should be fine...
  2. Yes, when you take the number plate plinth off you are left with two holes in the bumper, though they are covered up by a standard size number plate. Depends how small you want your new plate to be?
  3. If that's the biggest concern you've got in your life right now, you should consider yourself a very fortunate man. With that attitude you're lucky to even have a wife. That's assuming it was 'actually' her that did it... Just sayin'
  4. It's £150 a year more on insurance than I pay for the Zed!! Fell off my chair, then bid the nice insurance lady farewell.
  5. Just had an insurance quote on it of £600!!!!! Second car so no NCB to use on it. Burble or not, I think price would still matter to me... GLWTS tho
  6. +1 You'd have to come in at much nearer the £1k mark for me to come up on Saturday morning and buy it off you
  7. Heard some really great things about them, but a bit above my budget Colin...
  8. Honda CR-V looks quite sensible (and marginally cooler than a RAV4) plus, you can definitely get one for under the £2k mark...
  9. I had always assumed (by the big pile of Beemers in the ditch at the side of the road whenever it snows) that it was RWD to blame. Sounds like I might be mistaken...
  10. How far away is the sprayer? Could they pick it up for you? Hmm, you caught me out! Sprayer's less than 5 miles away, and yeah he probably would pick it up (quick, think of another excuse to need a big 4x4)
  11. Still wouldn't mind a go in this though: http://www.autotrade...h69hn?logcode=p Plus, it would solve the immediate problem I've got of not being able to transport my new Zed front bumper to the sprayer
  12. Really interesting what you all say about a good set of winter tyres. I had no idea they were so effective. Sorry - genuinely didn't mean to turn this into a 'winter tyres' thread when we're still in August!
  13. Thanks guys, appreciate all the suggestions. If it was just me in the car I'd be more inclined to take my chances, but I'm not happy having my toddler in the front seat of the Zed in bad weather. Just one too many risks for me I'm afraid. We don't exactly live in 'the sticks' but most of my daily driving is done on country roads to/from work and nursery. We've struggled in the past to get the FWD (VW Golf) up the local hills without snow chains on, hence my request. Just seen a Toyota Surf on Autotrader and (secretly) quite liked it. They're fairly high up, safe and indestructible aren't they??
  14. I'd definitely be in, but it would have to be next year. Can't justify the expense right now...
  15. I'm looking to get myself a second (well, third really) car as I've got some concerns about using the Zed as my daily driver in the pending winter weather. Looking for a 4 door, 4WD on a budget of approx £2k. The less I spend on this the better... I don't really care what it is, but something I could have a little bit of fun in wouldn't go amiss, and if it's got a big boot then I can justify keeping it all year round! Obviously old Scooby's are in scope, but what else should I look at? Your suggestions please...
  16. Think there was group buy for that style diffuser which never went ahead due to lack of interest (or money!): http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63537-350z-type-ts-rear-diffuser-group-buy/
  17. I've pinched some... Hope you don't mind? I promise not to use them for commercial reasons (I know the rules!)
  18. Clown - I love your pictures!! You took some beautiful ones of my daughter at the weekend
  19. Starts at £61,495 http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/uk-pricing-new-chevrolet-c7-corvette-stingray-announced
