What are the actual benefits to the strut bar (I'm a complete newb with cars) and how noticeable are they?
-
I'll be going back to Vegas next June July plus I hope to get tickets for download and Tomorrowland again, so I wouldn't be able to commit to anything but I'd definitely entertain the idea for now until I know for sure.
-
If anyone is unsure about getting these, they are definitely worth it!
Now I just need a reason to open my bonnet. Who's up for some modifications?

I'm very interested in this document and also pictures of the lights on your spoiler, they sound nice.

Having worries about fuel consumption when owning a Zed is like wondering if the urinal stones are lemon scented or not in a strip club that gives free lap dances
Most peculiar analogy I think I have ever heard :-)
-
My average is 22.7 according to the on board computer. My longest drive is only 12 miles though, only ever tend to do short drives with lots of short roads.

Nothing wrong with Green Neons - I'm getting mine fitted soon !!!!
To be honest, I was always under the impression they were illegal. I remember about 8 years ago a friend of mine was on about getting it done but said it was illegal on the outside, so had to get stuff on the inside instead.
*shrug* I actually think it can look nice if done right

If I actually knew you guys better, I'd love to do a massive road trip like this. Maybe I need to get my arse down to some of these meets.
That's interesting my mates are talking about bailing on me. Something to do with girlfriend wants to blah blah blah...
Typical isn't it. Problem I have is very few of my mates care about cars in the slightest, and very few can drive and like driving. So road trips just don't happen for me.

Wheels and brakes always struck me as the two big no nos when it comes to skimping on the cash. If just about anything else on your car brakes but you have your wheels and brakes, you can minimise the damage to you car and yourself. If your wheels or brakes go, you are most likely going to die.
Grim fact but one worth keeping in mind.

It's been a great trip and the Zed with 95k miles on it has performed flawlessly (touch wood).
Mines on 98.5k and going for its MOT in 1-2 weeks. Lets hope mines the same

It's also impossible to tell from that picture how full the car park was. If it was pretty empty and they were only nipping into a shop quickly, for example, it's not quite as bad as some as the other examples shown in the other pictures. I wouldn't do it personally but if you're not denying other people a space in an empty(ish) car park..........
I've seen someone park sideways across like 4 bays before in empty car parks. I mean, we're talking midnight at an Asda or something so it's not like it will cause any problems. I've always been tempted to myself, but owning a 350z with a personalised plate already gives certain connotations to the random public I'd imagine, no need to worsen that.

Besides looking pretty do these offer any benefits? Got too much coming up to buy one yet anyway mind but in a few months I'll be back on the modding no doubt and this seems like a decent place to start.

It can't add postcodes? Well that's me out then. Stupid satnav.

They look great. I wish mine were in as good of a condition as that. Speaking of which, I am looking at getting mine refurbed soon. I don't suppose there is anyone in the North West you guys can recommend? (specifically close to Warrington).

Thanks for the answers. I'll have to leave it for now but it's definitely something I'll want to get further down the line. :-D

Good good. I'll PM you tonight when I get home (can't send them on my phone for some reason). I'll be interested in the Z valve caps too if you still have some in.

Hmm well that's a shame. Thanks for the confirmation though.

I have a few questions regarding this.
1) Does it fit all models of the 350z (specifically mine being an 06 GT)?
2) How easy is this to fit, could it be done myself or is it a professional required type of job?
3) How much are they and do you have any in stock?
Think that's all for now. If I think of anything else I'll be sure to let you know

Hey, you still doing the 06+ in Black? I'm interested in getting one for when I get my bumper repaired.
Are these easy to fit yourself or would I be best getting someone else do fit it?
-
It says on that they only work with 03-05 models. Can anyone confirm if this works on 06+ as well? The one from the UK that jollyranchers posted says 03 and up, so that would lead me to believe its the same on all cars?
-
This is relevant to my interests. I need some repairs doing on my Bumper anyway, so if I can get a nice cheap set of these then I can ask them to fit them when they do the repairs.

A guy I work with is going for a test drive in a Yellow 370z after checking out my 350z
So I can attest to a +1 on the count (Not sure where he saw it, but I can only assume it is in the North West).
