  1. Thanks guys. As for buying a kit for $500, think I'll give it a miss. Lol.
  2. Hi Guys, Quick Question. Is there a way to disable the passenger side airbag (without removing fuses or anything like that) in the 350Z? I only ask because a friend of mine wanted me to pick up her little girl from nursery a while ago and asked me the question as there is a safety issue. She has a VW golf and apparently you can disable/enable the air bag in the VW using the key. I just wondered if there is a way to do it in the zed. Thanks.
  3. Hi Azzii1992, I was in the process of sanding these down, hence the slightly rough look as I hadn't finished that stage yet. Just needs a bit more sanding, then cleaning and a primer coat can then be added. No broken clips on them. I'd be willing to sell them for £12.50 if you are interested.
  4. The Door Sills have been sold. As for the other items, they've got to go. So if anyone wants to make me an offer on anything else, please do, otherwise it will end up going to the dump.

  6. Can't be sure, but a guy bought my ultra yellow 350Z GT4 and picked it up Sunday. He was from Wales, so it could of been him heading home.
  7. Don't worry, I will still be dropping in and I'm not done with zeds yet.
  8. Hi All, Well, today I have taken a deposit for my Nissan 350Z GT4. It's been a good 3 years and it's sad to see her go, but I've thoroughly enjoyed owning her. I want to say a big thank you to everyone on here who has helped me with parts and answered my queries. It's been such a great source for me to tap into when I have needed too. I'm certainly going to suggest to the new owner that they join up. This doesn't mean you won't see me again. Whilst I am down sizing to a smaller car for now, I'd certainly be looking to get back into the world of the zed when finances allow. Maybe a 370Z or my ultimate goal, a GTR. WATCH THIS SPACE! I shall no doubt check out the forum now and again. In the meantime, take care everyone.
  9. I've owned my zed for just over three years now, but sadly owing to other financial commitments, etc, the time has come to sell. It has been well look after and has had many mods. There is a full service history and the current mileage stands at just over 68,000 miles. It had a full service about 6/7 weeks ago and has also just gone through the MOT and the only thing that needed doing was changing the after-market steering wheel back to the original one. I also have a folder containing past receipts for work done and other useful info. I'm looking to sell for £8650, but will consider sensible offers. I have attached a couple of pictures to this post, but for more pics and info, visit my website - http://www.siriusprojects.co.uk. My location is Street, Somerset (near Glastonbury). Thanks for looking.
  10. Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback.
  11. Hi All, I haven't completely made up my mind yet, but I have been thinking about selling my zed. Due to financial commitments, etc, it's something that I may need to consider. Was wondering what sort of price you guys think I could get for it. Details of my zed and all the modifications can be found on my website - http://www.siriusprojects.co.uk. It's just recently had it's mot and the only thing I did need to do was put the original steering wheel back on. It's a 2005 350Z GT4 and the current mileage is around 67,500 miles. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
  12. Hi Ekona, When the aftermarket steering wheel was fitted, I notified my insurer straightaway and they had no problem with it and noted it on my policy. As for modifications. The alloys wheels are factory anyway. New exhaust system fitted, roof spoiler and the aftermarket steering wheel. Other than that, just cosmetic stuff really.
  13. Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm just going on what I was told. If the laws have been tightened and VOSA are checking, then I think that maybe the MOT station failed me, because they wouldn't want to risk any kind of come back. I think I will look into this a bit more though, because if it turns out that another MOT station would have passed it, then I'm going to be spitting feathers.
  14. I'm not sure if its any other airbags. All the other ones in my zed are there anyway. As for the warning light, no it wasn't on. Like I said, the last couple of years, they haven't had an issue with it. But this year, they've obviously toughened the laws.
  15. No they didn't refit the new one. They said that there are VOSA cars out and about spot checking cars. Sounds like they are really clamping down. I cant see any point refitting my aftermarket one if that's the case. Its going to affect sales I would think.
  16. Well, I had my MOT today and it failed. The reason it failed was because there was no steering wheel airbag as I had and aftermarket steering wheel fitted. The last few years it hasn't been a problem, but according to the MOT test centre, the laws have got tougher and they are clamping down. It was fortunate that I still had the original steering wheel, so I popped home and got it. The garage removed the new one and refitted the old one and it was retested and passed. Don't know if anyone on here has had a similar experience recently, but thought it was worthwhile giving everyone a heads up.
  17. Thanks for the recommendations guys. I will check them out.
  18. Hi All, I've seen paints/polishes/sprays, etc that can be used to blacken the tyres and was wondering what products you guys might recommend. Thanks.
  19. Sorry to hear about your zed getting keyed. Fortunately where I live, my zed is fairly excluded from view. It's when I go out and park somewhere public that I start getting nervous. I just think that a lot of it is jealousy. Granted the zed is an awesome car and I feel really fortunate to own one. But I don't earn thousands and it took a lot of saving and hard work to be in a position to buy one. These people must assume that anyone with a zed must be loaded, which certainly isn't the case for me. Lol.
  20. I've just watched the new Top Gear and personally I found it very cringe worthy. Chris Evans just sounded like he was trying way to hard and when he was reeling off the specs of the Viper at the beginning, it was almost like he was reading it off of a script, word for word. It just didn't seem natural. Roll on the Grand Tour. In the meantime, I think I will seek some therapy by watching some old Top Gear DVD's.
  21. Thanks for all the feedback. This is one of the decals in question. I don't mind decals, but I've just recently had the wheels refurbished and will admit I am kind of liking them untouched at moment.
  22. I have the 2005 GT4 model with the original wheels.
  23. HI All, Quick Question. I've got some Nismo Decals for my wheels, but can't decide whether to put them on. What do you think? Better with or without?
  24. Hi All, I saw the panels below for sale on Ebay. Mine have a few scratches on them so was pondering getting some replacements. Just wondered if anyone could advise on how the old panels come off and if it's relatively easy to do. Thanks.
  25. Spotted coming out of the Mcdonalds in Street, Somerset.
