  1. I do have a few more things I'd like to do. I want to do a bit more work on the engine bay. I've seen some amazing pics on here and online of what can be achieved and I'd love to really smarten it up.
  2. Yes, I know some people aren't keen on the music. The first time I set up the website, a forum member did suggest an on/off button, so I made sure I included one this time as well. Have just added some more pics to the picture gallery. Apologies for the photo quality. I'm not great at taking photos. I have a friend who does photography, so am hoping at some point to do a more professional shoot and get some really decent pics online.
  3. Hi All, After some time away, I have now reactivated my website. It's a work in progress, so check regularly for updates. http://www.siriusprojects.co.uk
  4. Hi All, Today I had my car serviced and checked over as the MOT is due soon. My mechanic mentioned that a panel on the underside of the car is quite badly rusted. He has removed the excess rust and tidied it up a bit, but it's going to have to be sorted at some point. The image below is from a little while ago, you can see where it has rusted in the areas I have circled. My mechanic said that as it is near the rear suspension, it could be an issue picked up in the MOT, which it could be failed on. He says that the panel appears to be bolted to the underside of the car, so I was wondering if it's possible to get hold of a replacement. I can't tell from the picture if it's one continuous piece running the width of the car or if it's one panel on each side. Can anyone help or advise? Thanks.
  5. Thanks for the comments guy. If you check out my other post under this section, you will see pics of the finished product.
  6. Hi GMballistic, I was going to get the centre caps painted the same colour as the wheel, but then I thought that a yellow centre cap would contrast nicely with the car. They weren't painted. Basically they are centre caps for a Nissan Juke, which I kind of took a risk on, as I wasn't sure if they would fit. I knew they would fit a 370Z and based on seeing some centre caps for sale that claimed to fit both the 370Z and 350Z, I gambled that the Nissan Juke ones would do the job and sure enough they fitted perfectly.
  7. Hi All, Had my wheels refurbished today and they are now back on my zed. Here are a couple of pics. Well chuffed with the results and if I may, I'd like to make a shout out to Adam of Wheel Nutz in Cheddar, Somerset. He did a top rate job and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get their wheels refurbished. He's mobile, so can come to your home or work place which is really convenient and he's very reasonable too, with his prices.
  8. Hi All, I have solved my centre cap conundrum. As advised by other forum members, I was simply going to get the centre caps painted when I get the wheels refurbished Friday. However, I saw some posts online talking about how Nissan Juke centre caps fit the 370Z and pondered whether to buy a set, hoping that they would also fit my Ultra Yellow 350Z GT4. Well, I took the plunge and bought a set which arrived today. I've just been out to check if they fit and they fit perfectly, so I am well chuffed. Here is a pic of the centre cap in question. I shall post some pics after the wheels have been refurbished with the new centre caps installed.
  9. Am wanting a new MAF Sensor for my 350Z GT4 (2005). Seen loads on Ebay, etc but don't really want to go down that route. Would prefer to deal with someone on the forum. Thanks.
  10. Thanks guys. I have a couple of ideas that I am toying with and will post up some pictures soon.
  11. Hi All, I'm getting my wheels refurbished and thought I would go to town. I'm replacing the centre caps, but also want to get a nice new set of wheel nuts to finish it off. I've been in touch with a couple of traders on here in relation to this, however I can't get a definitive answer on whether the sets available would be suitable for GT4 Wheels as they tend to be for aftermarket wheels and rays. I've seen plenty of wheel nuts for sale on many sites, but I don't want to risk buying something if they won't actually be suitable or could pose a safety issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  12. Thanks for all the feedback. I am going with anthracite as the colour. The wheels are being refurbished this friday coming. Will post some pics once done.

    Puzzled!

Hi All, Bit of a conundrum. Am hoping someone might have the answer. Basically I posted another thread in relation to getting my alloys refurbed and quering whether I could get the centre caps painted, etc. Now someone did mention something about the Nissan Duke centre caps fitting a 370Z. Having looked at these centre caps and the different colours available, I thought maybe I could buy a set of those, which would be ideal. The conundrum comes because I've seen these for sale stating that they will fit a 370Z, but no mention of them fitting a 350Z. However, I have also seen centre caps for sale that claim to fit the 350Z and 370Z. Ergo, if you can get centre caps that will fit both the 350Z and 370Z, logically that would mean that Nissan Duke centre caps that fit a 370Z, would therefore fit a 350Z. Does that make sense? Thanks.
  14. Thanks guys. I've got someone coming around on Saturday to have a look at the wheels, so will discuss options with them then.
  15. Thanks roadtrip, I shall look into that.
  16. Hi All, I am getting my wheels refurbished and suddenly realised that the centre caps could do with replacing. Does anyone know if I can get a set of the caps below in black? Yes, I know I could simply paint my current ones, but as I'm having a proper refurb on my alloys, I'd like to have decent set of centre caps. If black ones aren't available, do you think the company who will refurb the wheels might be able to refurb the centre caps as well? Thanks.
  17. Thanks rtbiscuit. Just checked out the website. Would have been great except it's the other side of the country. I'm down in Somerset. I do like the sound of the black base coat and chrome top coat though. Have you got any pics?
  18. It's a Ultra Yellow 350Z GT4. Other colours tend to clash with the yellow and I always thought black and yellow was a good combo.
  19. Hi All, I'm in the process of shopping around for prices for getting my GT4 alloys refurbed and I want to do a colour change also. I'm looking at getting the wheels painted black, however, the big question is, gloss or matt. Your opinions? Thanks.
  20. A black 350Z parked up outside of the Bear Hotel in Street, Somerset.
  21. ** I will consider any sensible offers ** I'm selling the original steering wheel off of my 2005 350Z GT4. There is a small wear mark and small scratch on the right hand silver plate, but other than that it's in very good condition. I'm asking £70 for it and that includes P & P.
  22. Came out of Waitrose in Wells, Somerset to find a blue zed parked directly behind me.
  23. Thanks for the feedback guys. There is a company quite local to me that I was thinking of using. I'll highlight what you have said about the powder coating and see what they say. If they can paint the wheels as suggested, then at least I will have the option anyway.
  24. Cool. Thanks Alex. As long I have a rough idea.
