  1. Hey guys and girls couldn't find any information on the forum but i cut the wire right at the door speaker and was left to guess wether red or green was positive... iv connected red as positive but the bass doesnt sound right, either that or im just not used to the sound from the speaker, bass just seems held back but vocals sound clear. Please shed some light someone?

    Thanks

  2. Hi guys got an 02 import and that batterys gone does anyome know were i can get one thanks

Online is your best bet TBH as most people dont stock ones for the JDM with the different terminals. If you want to stick with JDM I cant remember what size it was but I changed mine for a uk battery which was a 005L but you need to swap over to UK terminals aswell.

    Hey Dblock

Quick query any reason why you switched to UK battery? and the 005L the same size as jdm one?

  3. Let me know how you get on as mine will probably need done soon and they are one of the only places I trust my car with. (glad they have yours to practice on lol)

Haha well i must say they did a great job and at the agreed price of 50pounds per hour labour.

They did a great job and even tested it twice because they heard the noise from the lightweight flywheel, once it was all done they even showed me my old clutch and explained why it was slipping etc(friction pads were worn right down to the screw!) Great guys and well recommended they even gave me my dual mass back and told me it was fine and could be reused.

Topnotch guys and will definately be dropping my car back there for any major work(although fingers crossed that doesn't happen to soon)

They confirmed my sparkplugs with the oil wasn't really a big issue and could drive on for many more miles =)

    So definately honest guys imo!

The best part was when i went to collect the car they had washed and valeted the car making it look like it was fresh off the showroom :teeth:

  4. Just dropped the car off at Braehead Infiniti for clutch and lightweight flywheel fitted(courtesy of Zedmanalex). Great Customer service! Had a quick tour of the workshop, the place is so spotless. The guys in there certainly no what they are talking about, so i have full confidence in them, cant wait to pick up my car in a few hours time! :D

  5. I hear its a common fault to have the gasket go which lets oil into the spark plug hole. The oil woudl have got on the plug as you took it out. Mine have been leaking for the last years (yes really) but its expensive and a pain to change them so I ignore it and the oil loss is so minor its imperceptable.

So it doesn't really do any damage to the engine? or harm the mpg? Just burns a lil oil? Its just that after a insurance renewal, new set of tires and clutch change this week has me on the streets begging for spare change at the moment! "expensive and a pain" nearly brought tears to my eyes haha!

  6. Mercy! After reading a write up on the forum I decided to attack the sparkplugs(coutesy of zedmanalex) bloomin hell! Thought i could confidently complete it in an hour, how wrong i was! All those wires and hoses..i was at the point i was going to remove the plenum! Then i thought since iv got my hands dirty I might aswell set about changing the sidelights! Pain in the A-hole!

  7. Thanks for the guide! Went and attacked it today..should have mentioned need patience of a monk! Think i need anger management after this! the opposite side of the air intake was total @#$**! But got there in the end, quick query though is it normal for the sparkplug to be covered in so much oil? Oh big thanks to ZedmanAlex for the tip of greasing the socket and the tape on the extension bar.. was so annoying trying to fish out the socket when putting in the new plugs!

  9. Hey I know this is a Z forum but i drive a V35 Skyline 350gt, which is basically a 4seater 350z in my eyes and basically performance and handling tuning would probably relate aswell! I like to try get hands on.. so im just going to scour the forums for how to's.. Anyways mind my driving im just back from Hong Kong after a few years so... i need to try get back into the relaxed way of driving haha post-19069-0-11101200-1367168232_thumb.jpgpost-19069-0-78497900-1367168259_thumb.jpgpost-19069-0-77374900-1367168270_thumb.jpg
