  1. Finally!!!! If they conquer the Nurburgring then its definately on my list! Yeah they are even teaming up with mclaren to go back into formula1! Cant wait.

Yeah thats why i would stick to the charger! Yeah but like they say no replacement for displacement!

Well if either of us become rich some way il take up the challenge of building my crx to vs your ep3! Time attack on track as going straight lines is just about bhp! ;)

  2. Yeah I know what you mean! I just wish i bought the Nsx 5years ago when they were around 12grand, now they have rocketed to 30+grand!

Yeah honda have just went with technology and energy saving route, while other hot hatches are pushing 300+bhp!?! But i suppose thats the scene in Japan right now and its what dictates the japanese market these days, the prices you see on evos and skylines etc are dirt cheap you would be surprised at what you could pick up for a couple of grand! Most of them just sitting on forecourts with huge specs and top parts for cheap! Importers are raking in the money btw! haha

Im glad i started driving in the vtec era those named engines are possibly the best na powerplants made in history! however if they do pick up there boots and start bringing out supercharged this and turbocharged that with vtec... that would definately get my attention! Or il just go ahead with my plans and build a toy... a bullet shaped CRX Mugen kitted, drop in an S2000 dash in there, dc5 buckets, then engine wise il drop in a k20 head bolted to accord k24 bottomend and strap a big supercharger on it! :teeth: and with the 800kg curb weight im sure i will take out those Vxr, ST's and RS's and what not! :boxing:

but realistically that would be years away before i can start that as im on project Skyline now :teeth:

  3. ..what's your thoughts so far on the 370z

After getting used to the gearbox, which feels a tad sloppy compared to previous box's in my Honda's, it's great.

Not having to redline the engine to get a perfect shift or stay in the power band is also strange.

That said the usable, accessible power is great. Also I find the car very stiff and responsive at medium speeds, which is great and gives confidence when pressing on. The grip is good too, turns in well, without any hint of understeer, with a progressive, hint of oversteer when you get on the power.

The cabin is bright and spacious, with lots of comforts.

Too many buttons in the steering wheel for my liking though, I'll be honest.

The synchro rev match gearbox makes me lazy but gets it perfect every time. I can imagine its great on infield tracks mind you.

Seats are good, offer good support for OEM seats. I may look at some Brides though.

Tyres are loud, but give good grip, REO50's.

Brake pedal could do with firming up a rad too, hopefully some lines and fluid will help sure that up a bit.

So far, very very pleased with it :) .

Hihi :welcome: How was the s2000? Iv always wanted one from being a Vtec man back in the day! But this time round needing 4 seats ticked the s2000 off my list...

  4. Really? but my car only has 13000km on it, im going to try 55mph in 6th instead as previously i was trying 70mph. But what does cleaning the maf do? and would spark plug flooding with oil upto the top of sparkplug serious or will it just burn off?

  5. Dont give us that OAP driving lark ;) we know that you cant control your right foot what with all those awesome roads up there ;)

Lol yeh but i thought id try an mpg test... filled the tank up , reset trip meter and trying to make it last a week! The missus said if i manage it she will fill up my tank next week! :) started yesterday and already down to half a tank with only 122miles on the clock!? Or maybe its km but still doesnt it seem abnormal? @.@)/

  6. Yeh i had full confidence up until i seen that beast of a bus lmao! Yeh glad you split us up cause the ways things were going..lets just say its all fun n games till someone loses a bumper!lol but definately need some anti roll bars and decent pads for next time, need an exhaust or decat felt left out when you guys were making so much noise haha.

  7. You just realised you stay in Paisley?

Wherever suits you mate wel be meeting in Stirling at 1

Gutted my car won't be there as this sounds like a good turnout even with a few pulling out. Il happily bring the skyline round to anyone who wants to see it when I get it back
