  1. Mine has parking sensors fitted, bought it with them Got a JDM bumper going on loon though so might rig up a camera and loose the sensors
  2. Looking good mate! The black on the front splitter is an awesome idea... Not made my mind up about the eyelids though, I think it would work better if they were part of the bonnet? If you catch my drift
  3. Won't go on mine with the tyres and can't justify getting different ones
  4. Might have these off you, need to check my arch clearance (lowered 40mm) Don't really fancy shredding my Yokohamas just yet
  5. Any ideas what the postage would be for the bumper?
  6. If you can, get some decent compound.. Something like the new Farecla G3 ultra or 3m fast cut... T-cut is as useful as a handbrake on a canoe.. It's not coarse enough to cut a decent shine
  7. Mopping/ compounding will help, will freshen up the paintwork and not make it look as tired.. As blacks usually do.. Will help get rid of small scratches and any marring present from cleaning etc. If your willing to part with the cash then it would be better to get all the chips etc done. But if your just looking to make it look abit tidier then a mop over the car and a black felt tip for the stonechips will do the trick
  8. Thanks for the comments! Not sure what to do with it really, in two minds wether to go the full Nismo route, or something different... Thinking charge speed rear with a flush bootlid.. Needing spacers and lowering a few mil, but it needs new disks and pads, could do with a good service (for peace of mind) and possibly a clutch a few months down the line..
  9. Well to be fair, this isn't really the start. But the only start I've managed to get pictures of! Recently fitted my Nismo lip as supplied by Tarmac! And also gave the wheels a bit of love and attention! How it looked when it went in... Splitter has been bonded on (with a lot of bond! I get abit paranoid about things falling off!) Got bored so decided to clear coat my carbon wrappage Just looks like a gloss black bonnet now! With a faint weave... This has now been taken off as the birds pipped all over it and has caused a reaction with the wrap ! Shoes off! [/url Smoothed in the splitter to the bumper, so no gaps were visible. Wanted it to look as though it was meant to be there, not as if 'av a go Andy' has had a bit of Sunday fun! Sorted the stone chips and scratches whilst I was at it Went for a satin bronze. Before anyone asks, I don't know what colour it is! I made it myself, after buying the wrong colour this was my only option, unless I wanted my wheels turquoise Bumper all finished and gleaming! As a finishing touch I decided to restore the tired black and fly beaten grill with the same colour from the wheels Will follow up with some ' finished product ' pictures tonight when I take some And I'm sure a lot more modding will follow
  10. I've been looking for something like this too! Looks awesome
  11. Welcome! Nice looking Z quite a few Zedder's in the area!
  12. In need of a new boot solenoid as mine has given up the ghost Cheers Oakley
  13. Hi all, after some Z badges to replace the vile Nissan ones. Been on eBay but can't really afford to spend £50 near on for 2 badges! Anybody got any laying around? Condition is not a problem Thanks
  14. Nice combo, but I wouldn't have the rear spats. I used to love them but gone off them now! Would go for a nice diffuser or something? Or a new bumper if funds allow
  15. Thanks for the replies guys! Looks like ill be booking it in soon for a clutch and flywheel for piece of mind!
  16. Thanks guys, found the boot release under the strut bar, it's open now! But I put the catch down whilst the boot was open and pressed the button. The catch won't release Any ideas?
  17. So I've just been out to chuck some tools in the car, and the boot won't open! It has been a bit temperamental lately having to be double tapped to open up... But now nothing! I can hear the solenoid/ catch trying to work on the press of the button but its not releasing! Is there any way to open the boot elsewhere? Any help would be great! Cheers Oakley
  18. Morning all, been having a few small problems since I bought my zed and looking for some answers or advice First of all is a scrubbing type noise that seems to be coming from the offside rear wheel when turning left at slow speeds, gets progressively quicker at a certain point as the wheel goes round. Second of all is my worries about the clutch, it's got 50,000 miles on it and hasn't been replaced, not sure when it has to be done. At the moment the biting point is fairly high and seems to be stalling sometimes... (Could be down to driver error? ) Tried reversing up a slope the other day and was putting a bit of strain on the clutch when a chattering noise was heard? Might be nothing but I get paranoid about these things! Any help or advice is appreciated Cheers, Oakley
  19. Sorry to pee on your fire abit, but I imagine new headlights were quite expensive? I know what you mean about them looking abit scabby, mine are starting to go to.. Most of the cause is the fact that the UV coating or lack of is starting to vanish.. You can actually remove this coating and replace it. Making the headlights look brand new! Headlight refurb in other words I'm looking to do mine soon so will post up some pics of the end results. Maybe even offer a service if people want it done?
  20. The other option is... To flat back the affected area and re polish the lip? Time consuming and will take a bit of upkeep to keep clean and shiny... But will cost you next to nothing!
  21. Compound will shift it no problem. You can use thinners but nothing too aggressive or you chance dulling the finish. Claying might rid it too but never tried it
  22. I bought Tarmacs clear eBay ones, they fit brilliantly but I wanted to get cheap set to cut up and make DRLs out of
  23. It's sitting on Meister R coilovers on their highest setting (so fractionally lower than stock) but my rear track tyres have dropped it about 20mm due to the 255/35/18 profile. Ah I thought the back looked low! Looks really smart mate, I wasn't keen on the gloss black with the sunset but seeing this has changed my mind! I want that rear bumper!
