Spotted this car in Penclawdd near the Gower on the way back from a wedding? Anyone on here? Private plate, unsure of the whole numberplate but pretty sure 'NN' on the start?

Welcome to the forum

Went to a wedding yesterday (in a pretty "uppitty" place). As we were driving into the venue, the woman who was directing traffic (late 20s) , stopped, looked and said "wow nice car". Pretty pleased as the Zed had a wash before going! Also a few friends of friends couldn't believe it was a 3.5...the comment "2 litre turbo is it?" Was mentioned a few times... Erm..no.

Try the codes again. As mentioned, my OBD2 showed that it was the sensor. Hence that's where I started. If it wasn't that, I did think about changing the reluctor rings (abs rings) although I understand that is more of a fiddle. As mentioned, it's a process of elimination unfortunately! Start with the cheap fixes, and go from there!

Welcome along to the forum! -
Yup similar issue with mine. Used a OBD 2 code reader, was the rear ABS sensor. Changed this & problem seems to have gone...so far,,,

No problems. Hmm...the code I had showed that there as a problem with the sensor, therefore a realtively easy/cheap fix. And it has seemed to work, Snap, the voltage gauge shows my voltage around 14v, think it's a common thing in the Zed! The lights on my car came on, dissapeared for 3 months & came back on permanently then! Sorry can't be of more help with regards to your code, but the same symptoms happened with mine & sensor seems to be the culprit!

This happened to me very recently. Code reader showed with me that the rear ABS sensor was faulty. Brother in law changed them on the weekend and problem seems to have been solved so far! When starting up, the lights wouldn't be on but I would have a whining noise through the brake pedal for around 200-300 yards. After this, the dash would light up (abs, esp, slip light) and would stay on. Didn't affect the feel on the car for me, as I was driving sensibly with the lights on. It began with the lights going off after restarting the engine etc, but went to the point where the lights would always stay on then after 200-300 yards I also had the battery voltage code come up (this seemed to mention something to do with the Cruise Control fro, doing some searching?) I hope this is of any use! I'll dig the codes I had through on my previous thread for you, see if they match up.

My 4 yr old nephew thinks my car "Looks like a Blue Lightning Mqueen"! (Not sure if that's a compliment or not!) Lad who works in the local petrol station shouted "nice note" as I started the engine!

It all depends on the quality of camera you're looking for. I bought a cheap £10-15 camera from ebay to connect to my Pioneer BT2500. It fitted in the number plate light, but there are various ones for similar price that ypu can place in the bottom of the bumper (although i think maybe some cutting required). The screen shows a clear display from the camera, although the one I have is not night vision and sometimes does become blurry during wet weather, although clears quickly

Bargain for someone. Need to do this to my wheels... -
Maybe the judder was to do with the ball joints (banana bar on driver side needed changing as well). Everything seems ok at the moment, back in love with the car after a few frustrating months! Rattle on the exhaust to sort now...

Nice looking motor Bob! Cracking colour.

Snap, could do with some as well! Had a look on ebay, nothing much tickled my fancy yet! Some decent D1's but a bit expensive IMO

Abs, Esp, Traction control light- help please
iwanprice12 replied to iwanprice12's topic in 350Z General
Just a bit of an update for anyone that's had similar trouble... After a week away, left my car with my brother in law (who's a mechanic) and replaced the ABS sensor (rear) that the code was throwing up. He also replaced the banana arm on the front. So far, so good! No lights on the dash (although haven't given it some beans yet!) and the car handles well again. Fallen back in love with the car after a bit of love/hate over the past couple months! Iwan -
Have sent a message to Alex, nothing back, have managed to get one on ebay! Thanks all
