Drugs is an interesting one, thinking the process through to legitimise it would mean legitimising the whole process end to end - so somehow putting controls in globally around how its produced, stored, transported, distributed, sold, used etc. I cannot even imagine thats possible with so many in the chain being likely murders/extortionists etc
Let's take marijuana as an example though, it's been legalised in a couple of US states and there has been very little in the way of negative side affects. A few more car crashes are being reported, but is that correlation or is it a coincidence. Since Marijuana has been legalised in California the dreadful drought conditions of the last decade have improved slightly, I highly doubt the two are connected
Just for the record, I hate the stuff, it smells awful and it doesn't interest me in the slightest, but we can't deny that there would be tax increases if they made it legal with a nice 20% added on the top. You'd also be able to regulate it to ensure that people were buying what they thought they were buying.

Thinking more about airport carparks - I always forget to note row, number etc
There's a space on the back of the ticket specifically for that

Well, I still like it anyway
and literally nothing else matters, so ignore me. Genuinely

I hate to say it dude, but all the engine bay stuff needs to be a different colour now. The orange just doesn't suit the wrap, sorry to be Negative Nancy.

They need someone who has worked in the NHS to run it, they need someone who has been a teacher to run education. It absolutely baffles me when people with no experience in those fields try to run them and make massive decisions which can literally change peoples lives very quickly.

Also, I'd just like to point out that 38% of UK income tax is paid by 1% of the population. That 1% of people are the ones who are so rich they can literally leave overnight. A lot of that 1% have come here because they're happy to pay our tax rates as they're more reasonable than other countries, if they leave for nicer shores, we've actually lost a huge amount of tax revenue, which will have to be paid by someone else.

I actually really like pink on blue, I don't know why, I know I shouldn't but I do.

I just hope that all of the touchy feely types in my generation don't vote for the likes of the greens, JC, cannabis party etc

Any chance of DC for PM ?
Probably not, he still works with Red Bull a lot, quite a busy guy by all accounts.

buy the cheapest android phone possible, wire it in to charge when you're driving and have location services on, hide it in the space under the carpet in the cubby behind the passenger seat. Log on to google and you can see where it is, not insurance approved, but cheap and effective if you hide it somewhere safe.

I can lend you a stand if you pick it up from Wokingham in Berkshire.

Stuff.
Ouch that's nasty. Letting yourself be hit is great in theory, but getting your body to override the survival instinct to swerve is not easy.
It was all snowy out and when we came to rest there was a lorry that stopped around 20 ft behind us. On the traffic cameras they thought the lorry hadn't stopped in time, so we had highways, ambulance, fire brigade and multiple police cars dispatched to us We were probably stopped for 2 minutes before blue lights arrived from all directions It was at the luton exit for the M1 so I guess they're always reasonably close
the policeman described the other car as the type of people who say "I've been driving for 30 years with no accidents, they're always happening in my rear view mirror though"

When I totalled my z, it was because someone pulled into the lane I was in and was going to sideswipe me. I swerved to the right and hit a massive patch of ice, spiralling down the road across 4 lanes of moving traffic hitting the armco three times. The police who attended were really nice and told me I should have stayed where I was and let the other car hit me. They actually wrote me a stonker of an accident report as it was seen on the traffic cameras, however as there was no contact, it was a single vehicle 100% my fault claim.

Every group DOES need a nutterTry taking a chopper or Harley into a forest and up a steep muddy Hill or riding through streams.
Harley would rust within days, no bueno
Also, Dan, can I be a gollum like creature for your gang? I can't really contribute much, but I can be creepy as anything and attack people wearing nothing but a loin cloth
We have several now though
Please Master?

I think somewhere around Portsmouth would probably be a more likely target than London.
I think the Russians have more than enough nuclear war heads to point several at every single city in Europe and have plenty left for spare!!
They do, but that would be stupid as the fallout would hit russia. They'd hit a militarily important area to make a statement and cause massive losses in the people trying to fight them, claim it was preventative and protection from the forces coming to hit them. All the innocents were an unfortunate casualty of war. Hitting somewhere like London with no military significance would be suicide as killing millions of people for fun wouldn't go down well anywhere in the world.

I think somewhere around Portsmouth would probably be a more likely target than London. War ships of all sizes, submarines, RAF bases, aldershot army base and the whole of the Salisbury plains where a lot of tanks are kept etc. They'd all be within the outer thermal nucleation radius.

Ah, gotcha.
I guess there is always that risk, but I'd also be tempted to document the wrap removal so you can then go back and have words with the wrapper. Again though, this is why paying for a decent place to do it is worth the extra.
Unfortunately they can always just dodge you:

Bearing in mind the car is on PCP, what would the finance company do if they found out? I know it's quick to undo, but I wouldn't want to risk them throwing their toys out of the pram.

I don't understand how the same terrible body kit bolted onto 20 different cars is popular. A couple of years ago you'd be slated for using universal parts, now it's the thing to do. At least those awful Veilside kits were designed for a 350z from the get go, not just a universal bodykit adapted to fit one.

My friends gorgeous Capri. It's been stored in our unit for 2 years or so and cleaned up SO well!

That's properly cheap. A forum I used to use charged £100 for the first year and then £500 for every year after that.

In the states you can go on to carfax and see how many times a car has been sold and the dates of each sale as part of the checks which are similar to our HPI checks. Personally I think that would be great over here too, the DVLA must know the dates.

I always take a picture of it with the big number thing somewhere in the background. At least then I have a rough idea where it is. Although depending on the holiday if I take 1000 pictures it can be hard to find again
