  1. 90k miles .........jesus christ, run for the hills Mate forget the mileage, these cars will do very high miles (should do 200k, but i've personally not seen one). At 90k-100k you'll be fine, just go on the condition of the car, and make sure it has a full/good service history

    Bum Clench...

There's been a few incidents of people buying from independent shell garages, and their cars recording high level of det/knock. When shell were contacted they said they have no way of guaranteeing v power in a v power pump in one of their independent garages. Stick to the ones with a shell shop to be sure, not the ones with a different brand of shop attached. There was a massive uproar about it on the MLR
  3. I've just bought one of those steam cleaners for floors/cookers/tiles etc with the handheld concentrated nozzle thing. I'm going to have a go at my engine bay with it when it warms up a bit.
  4. I'd be grabbing the money and getting out of there as quick as I could. A note for the future, if your getting a service done by a mate or doing it yourself, buy the bits yourself and keep the receipts so you can at least shown you've bought the parts. Always looks better to a buyer, instead of nothing.
  5. This its just comical bordering on insulting now
  6. (is anyone else too scared to turn off the traction control in February?). Mines off every time its dry and not freezing did have a bit of a scare when it tried to go sideways at 50mph in the damp whilst I was going in a straight line
  7. There's no wonder people are complaining about you with an attitude like that................

    Wanted - My 1st Z.

Me to, they didn't come across well at all
  9. You can't say luke0459 is wrong if that's his experience. Unless your saying he's blatantly lying? I'm not siding with either btw.
  10. My wife's car (not a zed) has a little gunk on the filler cap, she only does short journeys too. I changed the rocker cover gasket at the weekend and it was only the cap area that had a bit, so more than likely condensation. If its only a bit, give it a wipe and see if it returns. I wouldn't worry if its not thick
  11. I think your being too fussy mate. Decent price, decent mileage, good colour, UK car, not on the register. So its had some paint, you'll be hard pushed for your budget to find one that hasn't. If the tires and brakes were on parr I don't think it would be in your budget
  12. Quite a few over on the Evo forums using it when i had mine, only heard good things about it.
  13. Is it just a case of fitting an aftermarket amp and sub with the standard bose head unit? I have a sub and amp knocking around so if it is that easy i'll stick them in
  14. I may go custom rear when the time comes. I will definitely be very careful about what i choose. Put a clip up of how it sounds when you get it back
  15. To a Cobra y pipe, and standard rear/mid Arran.
  16. My phone's in for repair, as soon as it's back i'll stick one up
  17. +1. Its a bit of pipe. Some Tommy Kaira ones will be made of lighter stuff and the welds will be better but it wont sound any different. Also silenced decats will still be loud and they will still rasp. That was exactly my thinking, so i think the motordyne art decats are my best option One question, why do you want decats so desperately you can't declare them to your insurance can you? That makes you uninsured which is dodgy these days I told Admiral that I have decats, and then the XYZ pipe has the cat in there which passes MOT They had no problems with it Just meant you should declare everything thats all All declared These cars don't give massive gains when mapped, so everything i'm doing is to get the max out of it when i do. The decats are for that, and the fact there is no need to change the backbox (according to Abbey Motorsport) until it rots, so they also make the oem exhaust louder. I've changed the y pipe as thats restrictive. Anyway, decats swapped over today for the Motordyne ART pipes and Problem solved!! There is a slight rasp, but a nice sounding one now, and the exhaust note is deeper
  18. That's what i thought, the one on the car looks like tarmacs, not the one in the other pics. I don't think i'd risk buying from them, who knows what you'll get Knight Racer does have a good reputation in the GTR Owners Club for high quality carbon parts for the R35. I wasn't trying to imply they are at all "dodgy", many suppliers inflate their prices on EBay - I was just pointing out the difference! David The pictures of 2 different splitters isn't good mate
