  1. Wizurd, engine cover looks class, just had a look at engine bay and it is looking brilliant, still loving the blue and white. I got the flexing hosing from ebay, I tried it with the large one and hated it, so put the med 1 on, it doesn't go all the way round but you can't see it unless you get down and look under it, was also lucky got blue insulating tape that was the same colour blue so taped the ends up and then fitted the cable ties
  2. It was air brushed on by my brother, who said because it has so many layers of paint and lacquer the heat in the engine bay keeps expanding and contracting the paint. He said he's never doing another 1 for me :) so it's back to the drawing board but I do have an idea in mind don't know if it can be done so have to wait and see
  3. Thank you Desey, but after being on the engine for nearly a year, the heat has caused a couple of small cracks along the bottom edge so will be looking to change it if it gets any worse
  4. So decided today I would do some more little bits to the engine bay, fitted blue lead covers and a new cone air filter. Think I did ok as I have never tried to do any thing to an engine before (I have to use the instructions to fit an electrical plug lol) and a little sound track of what it was like before and after (hopefully they load) before After
  5. Looking really really well Spatts, and I bet looks a hundred times better in real life
  6. Thank you for the info guys, I will take note about the fitting
  7. Got some Thank you Tom
  8. Need new upgraded boot struts as the new spoiler is just to heavy for the boot lid, nearly lost my head last night  . Have tried to do a search but didn't bring me up what I'm looking, Can someone point me to any of the traders who sell them on here, many thanks guys
  9. I can't I have to many speed ramps to get over in and out of my estate 6 one way and about 15 the other , looking at side skirts and spacers for her, then will see how it sits
  10. 1 side fitted perfect and the other has a very slight gap and I mean a slight 1and it is only on the inside but he is going to fit a thin rubber strip into the 2 sides, that car modifiers use when fitting aftermarket parts but all in all it was quite a good fit. Couple of the other guys have them fitted as well I dont know if they had any problems with theirs. I am really happy with it and at a car show yesterday a lot of the guys commented on how good it looked. A big thank you mopedmark for the engine bay parts, again lots of questions and comments (all very good) about them And thank you to Asad for the new badge and some pics just from the show with some of the others cars that were on the stand

  14. welcome , good luck with your search and hope you get 1 soon
  15. I bought some of this today at halfords for £10.00 (on buy 3 items get 1 free ) and it worked really well, and the gun comes with it, just using a hose but would recommend wetting the car with the normal hose first, that was the car after a couple of minutes,
  16. He gets all this sort of stuff from a motor factors shop, and uses the panel wipe with blue roll (like kitchen roll.... just incase you call it something else lol )
  17. My brother uses stuff called panel wipe when painting the helmets, did have some in the garage, went to see what was in it and he has come and stolen it lol I used it on the car before I clayed it to get rid of all the wax and stuff, will take all contaminates of the paint but won't harm the paint. He said " lightly wet sand the primer then dry it then panel wipe it then tack rag it lightly and then apply top coat, tack rag is a cloth called tack rag
  18. Yeah finally got a painter who fell for the short skirt  .Went up today to get bits from the car and she is sitting like this

  24. Just to update, turned out to be a coil pack on its way out, thankfully not the same as the last one so not a wiring problem Kyle -Rang this guy and he didn't have a clue what the code meant said he hadn't heard of it and because it was an import he would have to get the license to read the code and said it was probably the injectors so he would check them first even though I told him all what I had found online about the code. ps still waiting on him to ring me back lol
