Congrats
Mini meet at Sly's soon?
Mines still there
Isn't it always?
Yes, I think he should start paying me, not the other way around
Does he always remember to take the "For Hire" sign off before you visit Graham?

Look forward to finally saying "hi" at next year's Gurston meet!
Nil desperandum Andy!
Kudos to Zedshed wizards.

Finally decided enough is enough and put a deposit on this today, to be collected on Saturday.
It is an '09 GTR tuned by Litchfield to Stage 4 - somewhere in region on 620 bhp and enough torque to rip your face off.
It has all the normal whines and clunks you get "at rest" from the GTR, exhaust noise is fine round town and light throttle cruising but when you prod the loud pedal the wail from the exhaust is simply amazing. The gearbox is absolutely sublime and swaps cogs so fast.
Sadly it is fitted with the most annoying feature you could possibly imagine courtesy of Nissan. Slip it into Reverse and you get a constant and VERY loud beep in the cabin (no it isn't the parking sensors) - more suitable for a large truck! Luckily there is a clever guy in the US who has manufactured a box of electronics that gets rid of it - honestly you have to hear it to believe just how loud it is!
Oh yes one other thing - the roof wrap is being taken off!
So there we have it - wallet considerably lighter today but am beside myself with excitement.
Pic quality isn't the best and yes that is my 350 in the background and no I am not selling it!

I have Torqen coilovers and would not hesitate to recommend going down this route.
You CAN feel the changes through the adjustment range, they are good quality, fit without an issue and I think represent great value for money.

Jack added 4mm to my wheel. For about 30 seconds I thought it was too thick but once it was fitted it feels absolutely perfect.
There is a pic on post #40 on my build thread.

What did you do with your old engine cover Adrian?
-
http://www.amazon.co...s/dp/B008YE28EU
This works - different versions for Apple and Android.
Software is downloaded (free) separately and gives multiple readouts/gauges static and on the move, error code diagnostic/clearance etc

Sorry to read about this Andy - as you say - that is the peril of racing.
I hope you have no lasting effects from this and you manage to get everything resolved car wise without too much additional trauma.

Been using one of these for well over 10 years, simple to fit/move from car to car and even simpler to use.

Bump for sale.

TORQEN?
Helpful!
-
It's been covered here before, HEL lines are crap. You get what you pay for.
Get some proper proven lines:
Agency Power Steel Braided Brake Lines
Goodridge Phantom Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Both available at TORQEN if you need them.
What make do you supply with your BBK Adrian?

Good choice - like seeing my twin!

Will try and find a place that will roll the arches then, not sure if arch enemy will roll arches down this way.
Another thing, what pressures are you running on your set up?
Thinking of 32 front and 34 rear?
Yep same on mine BUT I seriously doubt that I am that good as to be able to detect a difference of a couple of psi in road (even fast road) use.
On track (and I have a lot of race car experience) yes a few PSI can be noticeable as you have same corner repetition so get used to how a car will feel on a given corner but road use - hmmm - debatable.
-
My set up is same except rears are only 10".
On OEM suspension there was no rubbing, but when I put coilovers on and lowered by 20mm I started getting arch rubbing. A trip to The Arch Enemy solved the problem.
I suspect that extra 1/2"on your rear is why you will get rubbing at standard ride height.

Take the shock absorber (aka strut lol) off then poke the extender up. It's up to you how you thread it cross brace side - I sacrificed one of the two plastic mount clips either side on the top cover, drilled through the cover and cut the extenders to size so just the knobs sit on the top - works perfectly (without rattles). I've seen others keep the extended full length and route it around the brace a bit.
Looks very nice Chris, great work. Will be knicking this idea

As ZManalex very correctly said - once set will probably never need to adjust them again ----- BUT ----- another little subtle indication of what lies beneath so -----mine will be done just like this! --- ... I must ask Mr Torqen for these when I get back from hols....

No worries, not sure how much you paid but they look to have come down in price. £86 brand spankers now.
Cheers for the quick reply.
Good luck with your search/purchase - truly hope you find one that meets your needs/price range, (although £75 delivered is still less than £86 which may also have a delivery charge on top!).

I have only £60 till the end of the month for car stuff, So its either Fuel or this.
Would you take £60?
Sorry - I think £75 delivered is already a bargain basement price - but I can wait until you are in funds in September!

The dog is called Hachiko.
I lived in Tokyo nearly 2 years (after 3 years in Seoul - which I enjoyed much more) - never been anywhere that the trucks and lorries are kept so clean and shiny in my life! The entire country is OCD!
Going to the Nissan/NISMO showroom in Yokohama?
