  1. Hi, Just got back in to the 370 and when dip clutch and press start nothing happens. As some of you know only had the car a few months (October 2012) and its a 2009 (59) 370Z GT. The battery light came on for the remote recently and ive changed that today after it wouldnt start but when I get in the KEY light is on as it always on. Called roadside assistance and I dont have any lol... I think an oversight on my behalf. Anyway im gonna call Sky Insurance next to see if they have any cover with my policy. So any ideas? I wouldnt think battery with it being serviced in September and it started fine this morning on my way to parents. On these cars I dont really know what to check for as ive never had keyless entry and start... Im wondering if there is something simple/silly im missing because im an idiot? Thanks Bri
  2. My voluntary excess is £0 for everything and £250 compulsory (£70 for windscreen) Im quite pleased with that too...
  3. People are getting to nice quotes... older and probs a better PC I know that when i move from Tyne and Wear to County Durham my insurance will lower by around £300... Was quoted £480 at DH9. Juts need to move now... ;-)
  4. Ahh great... Puts my mind at ease. Thanks for the info. I check the PAS fluid and its above Min Cold (it was cold) so thats fine. Thanks for the info guys. Bri
  5. Hi, Ive noticed a slight judder when moving forward slowly on full lock either right or left. Doesnt happen in reverse. I thought it was the wheels skipping on surfance as my car park is a little stoney but I just noticed it coming home from work out of the car park. Its very slight but its annoying... Car is just OOW from 19th September and the car came with 3 month warranty from the dealer in Essex. So anyone have any ideas or should I just pop it into Nissan and ring the dealer I bought it from? Reason im asking incase its something simple/small ive missed or can fix myself. As I said its quite new (just OOW from Nissan) and just gone over 13k miles (12,300 roughly at time of purchase) Thanks Bri
  6. I looked at the manual one there. Little bit out of my budget plus it had Nav. Apart from that looked pretty good. Don't like Auto but that's everyones personal pref. Hope the black one turns out good for you... Can always wait for the right BE in manual if you prefer that spec.

    PB Brakes

Ahh interesting... Will check it out. Cheers High performance can always do with better brakes... From my experience anyway. The standard brakes were the worst thing about my Civic, I just never got round to changing them. Brakes seem ok on the 370 but I haven't really given them a good testing yet as I'm learning the car. We will see... Brakes are generally a good place to start with mods but most just want more power and more torks ;-) At the mo I'm really just trying to find info, I'm a hound for finding resources and learning new things. Helps me make an informed decision. Im new to most things on the Z and I've never driven a RWD car or a car of this sort of performance before. Im kinda just trying to pool knowledge and ideas etc.

    PB Brakes

Hi, Anyone had a look at these or know anything about them? Seems its and ex-pat guy who manufactures and ships direct from Taiwan. Full customisable from the look of things. Seen a few reviews from their ebay stuff (screen shots of mag features etc) and had a good look round the site. Just wondering if anyone has given them a try? Or has any info or experience with this brand? From the reviews seems they are good quality for the money. However im a bit dubious of new/relatively unknown brands. See www.pbbrakes.com After thinking about modifying my car I think brakes, dark powder coated alloys and minor performance enhancements are good place to start. Ive found the Brembo GT kits but £3k+ is a bit pricey and im sure there are plenty of other choices like Project Mu/Tarox/Stop Tech/K Sport etc... Any info is good. Thanks
  12. I would recommend thewheelspecialist.co.uk I used them for my Civic when my dad dropped a wheel and chipped it. They did an exact match to the champ. white. Cost £90 including VAT. I was impressed with the work and they are friendly family run business for the one based in Newcastle. Im gonna use them if I ever choose to go with a darker wheel (considering buying a 2nd set) like gunmetal or bronze. Im of the thought that cheaper price isn't always best. I know some places will be cheaper but I wanted high quality professional finish and id heard other places found it difficult to match the colour. I was impressed with their customer service and quality of work.
  13. Cheers very much for all the comments guys. Im quite proud of it. People at work all wanting a go lol... Pulls a lot more attention than the civic did. Haven't decided about mods yet as I'm in two minds to keep it standard. Kept my civic stock so ill give it some thought. I did an evil cackle again this morning when i started it up...
  14. Thanks for the awesome comment p.s. Hugs http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0009IQXJ0/? ... B0009IQXJ0 lol I just didnt have any... ;-) On my to do list...
  15. I like it... Looks great Sod the connect premium lol... Drivers cars dont wanna be weighed down with golf players toys
  16. Thanks for all the comment guys... Well impressed...
  17. eMail and a website isnt 'calling them'... I know they have email and a site lol ;-)
  18. More pics... Gave it a quick wash. Looking very nice in the sun. Blue is very sweet.
  19. Yeah thats true... Sky Insurance seem to be really good though and not just in price. The only thing for me is that arent open on a Sat and the close at 6pm so depending on my shift it may make it a little difficult to call them.
  20. Hey, Just got back home, what an epic drive. Car bought and safely home. Was in pretty mint condition when I got there. Has 1 bonnet chip, 2 on bumper and tiny one on near side arch and thats it. Rest is immaculate! For a 3 year old car im impressed. Came with car cover and all the usual sundries. Only has 12200 miles and saw the HPI report they did today for me. I think £18250 was a good price and im very pleased. Better pics coming soon ;-)
  21. Im in NE11... Not the best but im moving to DH9 soon (ish) and ive been quoted under £500 for that PC. Just got back from car pick up... Woo Hoo thread inc
