  1. That was quick reply First time ive posted after spotting
  2. Spotted around 1230pm at a junction on Brighton Road and A2022 on Saturday 13 th April
  3. Not sure what pads are fitted to be honest, i don't think it states in my paperwork i got with the car, but the sounds I'm getting are as if the ABS is trying to lock unlock or similar as Ekona pointed out. Its due work soon, so will get it looked at just in case Cheers
  4. Thanks Yes was a wet day today, i thought it felt like something locking up. Doesn't sound too serious then
  5. Hi all Not sure of appropriate thread title, but on a few occasion's i've had a strange noise from the brakes. I'm certain its only happened when starting off from cold, although it happened today after being parked for about an hour and a half. So the noise I'm getting is as if the ABS is kicking in but just the noise and not actual juddering you can feel. Both times its been dry or damp conditions and not icy, and driving slow. After it has done it, braking after woods is fine, also taken on a quiet road and tested proper and that was fine. So its either really just a patch of greasy road or i have an issue. Thought i would post it up anyway, and feel it should be checked out. The car had new Discs and pads all round last September. Cheers all
  6. Just did the ignition key dance too, as in the video by Skidder although i had to do five on and off's lol. Light now off Didn't Goldie looking chain mention Elizabeth Juke jewellery in one of there songs Light now off
  7. So i should double check things like what oil they would use etc
  8. I'm quite lucky to have found a nice garage local to me, and i'm very confident with them.
  9. Hi Just wondered if there was any mileage in buying Oil or any other items typically used during a service from places like Europarts when they are on offer. Do you save enough to make it worth while, and do garages mind you taking your own products? I'm not overly confident of buying my own stuff, and tend to let the garage deal with it anyway. Thanks
  10. That link is pointing to your local machine (Localhost) As said Photobucket will change that to an external link to your uploaded pic
  11. :bang: Yep im stupid, window lock was on. Thanks
  12. Thought they were top rated on here.

  14. Quite possible lol, i do tend to fumble around with the switches and lock unlock doors by mistake. My excuse is i've only had car now 3 months will check tomorrow Thanks
  15. Hi Guys My passenger window stopped working today, so nothing at all using the switch. Auto seal still works when opening/closing I've read about on here about the reset switch which seems to be the one to try. Anything else to try before stripping the door down. Thanks
  16. That stuff is mentioned alot on Detailing world
  17. Sorry its actually called Bumper care, but its quite old and that link is probably a new version. On my last Saab i used it on the wing mirror housings and came up great. they were really grey. I detail a bit, and polishes and other products get on those places.
  18. I use this and happy with it. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_172232_langId_-1_categoryId_255233

Once uploaded your images will have there own links created for you to add on this site, so the link will point to the image on the Photobucket site, (the host) Click IMG code, and it will say "copied" then paste it into your post on here.

  21. Bet it shook you up, i'm always trying to drum it into my five year old about road safety, as when ever we cross a road he's not paying attention. Glad nothing happened.
  22. My nearest garage is Tesco, but the fuel is Esso There Premium Unleaded is 97 should i be concerned?
  23. By no means an official answer, but on my old 350z, I had a rusty stone chip on the roof line at the windscreen. I got some Krust from Halfords, put that on as directed then painted over the top with a P4U touchup kit. Couldn't see it was there afterwards and it never came back or bubbled from underneath That's my plan too, get some Krust and use that first as i have a few chips which have developed rust. My kit arrived today, and looks good so far, including the paint which has a Nissan label with the code which is reassuring Only the weather which is stopping me
  24. I will certainly let you know how it goes with before and after pics. Luckily Gun Metal doesn't show up as much, i have a few chips/scratches which show up grey anyway. My previous black cars had horrible white marks within the chips especially the bonnet.
