I'm glad of all the comments as i thought it might be me not driving it properly. But today i was on the M1 coming back from Watford and i thought i would slipstream an Eddie Stobart truck so I sat behind it for a while and then pulled out doing about 60 hoping to just blast past it but as soon as the Zed hit the middle lane and the air, it felt like it was going backwards it lost speed and the truck was still ahead of me and pulling away.

You think the car had a cold? Lol. No but i remember reading somewhere that air con units in cars can release contaminants back into the car if the air con is not serviced properly. Not helped by a blocked pollen filter. How many have changed there's recently? I always change the pollen filter in any car I buy, but I was told the Zed does not have one. Is this true. ? I just hope they have done more damage to their car than yours. That is terrible, somebody must have seen or heard it been hit. Sorry to hear that.

Not racing on the streets, but it would be nice to get in front of white van man in a sports car and not have him giving you the wan***er sign out the window. Yeah, I can see that might sting a bit after just buying it. Both the XK and the Zed are about the same BHP, but completely different in how they excellerate, very dissapointed in th Zed.

It's a sports coupe, not a bloody diesel. It's supposed to have the nuts revved off it! To be honest, if you got 'beaten' by a Transit then there's something seriously wrong with either your car or your driving. Never had to rev the XK8 a it would have any car off the lights, but very disappointed with the acceleration on the Zed.
