In my opinion if you want to use it during winter you just buy a set of winter tyres, period. Winter tyres will last many years and will make a significant difference in low temp and snow. Even if there is no snow, in low temp summer tyres will not perform well. In slippery conditions or fresh snow you have no chance to get away with TC on and 1st gear in a 300 bhp rear wheel car... With the TC off the LSD should also help a little by not allowing one wheel to spin while the other stands still.

Vredestein ultrac sessanta are known for having weak shoulders which gives a wobbling feeling in hard cornering. Grip is very good but the weakness of those tires are the shoulders not rigid enough.

Very OK for the gear box, I have it and recommend it. Smoother and less noisy than genuine Nissan. Many are using the same for the diff.

The injectors are usually ticking. If it's not loud, don't bother. Water pump is also known for ticking.

How to re-seal in case of condensation.

Believe me, it's far from impossible. An official Nissan shop (dealer) has done it for me and now I have no condensation. I went to them with the problem and they offered to do the re-seal. It took 3-4 hours. I don't know exactly what they done as I left the car there and returned when ready but I suppose they injected some special material arround the joint between the glass and body.

Just go to a shop and they will do a reseal. I had condensation and it is solved now. You don't need to replace the headlights.

Heatgun it's a must! Just find an indoor heated place and slowly heat up the part you want to remove step by step. Take someone with you to hold the heatgun and warm up the area while you slowly peel. Carbon wrap is more delicate to remove... Then try to clean what remains with a stain removal solvent made expecially to clean the car paint. You can go ask at a dealer for the solvent they use to remove the protective wax form the new cars.

I had S2k and now I have a 350Z roadster. Loved the S2k, great fun factor but more like a weekend car or track fun. The Z fits way better to everyday drive when you can't rev to 9000 RPM or for trips when you are not in the mood to force it. But when you want to be hardcore, you have the ressources. You feel more confortable and relaxed inside. Depends what you really want. If you want the thrill ocasionally or everyday joy with possibility to have fun when you are in the mood. The MX5 is good, but a diffrent league.
