  1. Think this is the same guy who bought my zed of me, name is Paul i believe. I needed a pretty quick sale so took a bit less than what I wanted for it. He got the train to Newcastle and paid in cash. Seemed like an ok guy, agreed a price over phone and he stuck with it, didn't try to haggle me down when he got up and seen the car. Next day I found my car on Gumtree and he had it up for £1400 more than he gave me for it, fair play to him if someone pays what he was asking for it like.
  2. Hi everyone, bit of a long shot really. Due to a recent break up I have 2 adult tickets to fly from newcastle to Turkey, Dalaman. It seems your not allowed to sell flights on likes of eBay and gumtree, security issue maybe? So though i would stick them up here incase any north east members fancied them. Leave newcastle on Thursday morning 20th June and fly back on Friday night 5th July. 20kg allowance for luggage and in-flight meals too, seats have already been selected (window+middle) I paid around £520 for them including all the card fees etc, the same flight is currently at around £670 and will probably only go up. There is a £30 admin fee per person per flight so total of £120. I'm hoping to try and get close to my money back on them so looking for £580 (£60 of that for admin fee from buyer) and I'm willing to pay for half the admin fees, so someone is still saving close to £100 on current price. Any questions etc drop me a pm. Cal
  3. Thats dedication getting it fitted in the rain! Glad it went to a member, gutted I had to sell up as I loved that exhaust! I too wasn't sure in how it hung a bit low at first but it did grow on me a lot. You will have to get a vid up of it with your decats if you have them on. ...... Remember first dibs if you sell the exhaust back on would love to have it to hand when I get another zed after I buy this house! Cal
  4. Just renewed the advert so cheeky little bumpety bump time.
  5. Looks a good buy! Not a fan of silver myself but still looks tidy. Traveling for a car is part of the fun! I flew down to Southampton then got a train to Bournemouth to pick up my mrs merc, then drove back to Newcastle. Was a good day out lol!
  6. Glad to see you joined up....even if it wasn't my zed you ended up buying lmao!
  7. F4ABP its yours buddy, drop me a pm with your address and I will get it sent over for you. Cal
  8. i have a stubby aerial i got from eBay. Since I'm selling my zed i have no use for this since i put the original back on. It only cost me £8 or something so is hardly worth selling on, so the first person who comes forward can have it, i will even pay for the stamp and envelope to send it please be aware though its crap for signal! i got it purely for looks, i think the only station i could get decent on it was radio 1. I use a FM Transmitter with my iPod so it was never a problem for me. the aerial in question is the one in this link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Short-Stubby-Aerial-Fits-Nissan-350Z-Qashqai-GT-R-Micra-/390509735316?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5aec31ad94 Cal
  9. Both these items have now been sold. Mods feel free to lock
  10. Sorry fella, was sold outside of eBay, was made an offer I couldn't really refuse. Cal
  11. @ Dave-350 I had it fitted to my 54 plate, so it deffo fits DE engine. I copy/pasted some of the info from a website, didn't notice it had HR for the engine, I would assume it fits both though? Unless there is a difference with the exhaust design between the two?
  12. Cheers i think in your defense with the double bump my thread hadn't been approved by a mod yet so you wouldn't have seen it. HAHA it is an amusing name, personally i think it gives it character
  13. Hey everyone, as mentioned in a previous thread i have just put my exhaust and spacers on the bay. 14. Haha yes I can confirm they were from me! Hope you're enjoying them, if you still have any left! Considering you drove past the house to check if the wheels were even there, then you went back again to pick them up, then you had the tyres taken off since they were shot an would save on postage, then you stored them for me iver xmas, boxed them up and waited in on the courier to pick them up, And you wouldn't accept any diesel money...I think a couple packs of bickies seems the least I could do for all your help Great club spirit! Hopefully one day I will make the journey down from Newcastle to visit the ZedShed.
  15. I don’t have the required posts to post up in the for sale section unfortunately, so if I’m in the wrong putting this in here please remove. Well it’s a sad day which I was hoping to avoid, but due to a change in circumstances the sensible thing for me to do is to part ways with my 350Z. I've put it back to standard to sell, so keep an eye out in this section as I will be putting my exhaust and spacers on the bay soon too. 16. Haha I was expecting it with the tyres, pretty sure they were wrong size for them wheels anyway. Means I can start fresh now hopefully that damaged one can be repaired. Took a chance with the wheels to be honest. Did you happen to noice the offsets? sorry mate....wheels need a good clean then i have a look for you. no worries mate, no rush to be honest, i'm just glad they're in safe hands now.

  18. UPDATE! Some good new at last. After Chris did his spy mission he offered his services again in the form of if the guy got the wheels back (if he even sent them out in the first place) he would jump in his work truck and go pick them up for me! So after a planned pick up last night didn't happen I was ready to pull the plug on everything, then I get a phone call from him just before telling me him and Bob have the wheels in their possession! And to top it all off he said 2 tyres are no good and he would pop into Bobs tyre place and get them taken off for me to save a bit on the courier if I wanted. So I think the wheels will be staying with Chris for a bit till Xmas as new year is out the way then we can sort out getting them sent up. Can't thank him enough, absolute top bloke for helping out, considering I'm a new member as well and not known! Saved me going down dispute route and a potential ball ache getting money back. That's 2 favours he has in his favour bank from me now. Also thank you Bob for assisting in the picking up.
  19. To be fair, he has never said "you can't have the tracking number" it's always been "I've been doing 12 hour shifts all week and forgot/not had chance to email you it" which still isnt an excuse but I do under stand as I also work long days and sometimes don't have time or forget things. Part of the reason it's gone on a while now is I've been busy myself and not always had time to chase things up. It's been 3 weeks now he has had my money which is 2 weeks too long, but I've got more time now so it's going to get sorted one way or another .
  20. Just a quick question guys. I'm planning on giving him till the weekend to at least give me a tracker number. If I don't get that by weekend I will be opening a dispute with PayPal to claim my money back, but how do you think is the best way to go about it. Do i, a) get in touch with him again and simply ask for the tracking number once again (already spoke to him Monday and he said he would sort it out, he still hasn't) and when he no doubt doesn't provide it by Saturday start the dispute but don't mention it to him and wait or PayPal to make him aware of it. Or Get in touch with him as above but tell him if I haven't been provided with a tracking number by said date I will be contacting PayPal and claiming my money back. Thoughts?
  21. Already had a talk with PayPal to see where I stand and if I could open a dispute, Said I could as long as I make it within 45 days of the purchase. As for patience, I do have quite a bit of patience lol, but I have to admit I'm near loosing it all together with this guy now.
  22. As Chris mentioned, mission complete. Big thanks again Chris. Unfortunately the car the he was breaking with said wheels wasn't there! . Maybe it's down a garage getting dismantled I don't know. Guy has got a few more days o sort his s**t out before PayPal gets contacted. Will let you know the outcome. Cal
  23. I'm heading to him to do a swap I believe and someone correct me if im wrong, when it says about unconfirmed it means your only allowed to send a certain amount say example £2000 of payments through paypal. If you verify your account (very easy, paypal makes 2 very small payments and you enter the amounts into paypal) it means your not limited to how much you pay through paypal, something to do with verifying its your bank acount. Also as mentioned above, best avoid doing it as 'gift' as you wont be covered. Ive also heard of paypal suspending peoples accounts when people take the pee paying for things as gifts to avoid the fee. Not sure how true this is though.
  24. NOS is allowed yes, but will need video evidence or it didn't happen PM on way.
  25. i did notice he was close when i looked on the map location thing, But he is still a bit of a treck away, not what i would say as 5 minute drive. Couldn't ask someone to go on a mission that far, especially in his green beast!
