How much we talking mate? I know I'll get slated on here for this but as I don't track the car I'm not really keen on forking out much more for better quality springs with the same drop if you see what I mean. Was maybe looking for some second hand coil overs though...

After some new springs, ideally to lower the car around 30mm. Will be buying some Apex's from eBay in the next 24 hours unless anybody can offer me something on here?

Also, are they supposedly an upgrade of the regualr Denso Iridium Spark Plug's I've been recomended in the past or just a different brand?

Are these suitable for the pre 2007 DE engines or the later HR one's? Where did you buy them from if you don't mind me asking?

No real difference in noise I don't think mate! Mine is pretty raspy as it is tbh but all I've had done is get the middle box removed other than the new Y pipe!

Hi mate! YEah I got it donw, £156 all in and they did a top job tbf, good guys down at Pro speed too, even got a nice green Almera banger as a courtsesy car for the day! haha! I think he just went for the 1 flexi in the end

In basic terms, its like having 2 different spring rates, the more you compress the spring (cornering) the harder it becomes. I have picked up some Eibachs for track work so my Apex will be available if you want them, pm me Photo on Apex springs below Cheers mate! Apologies for being so clueless here but what are progressive springs and how does it affect the ride etc? I'm looking at springs now and saw that the Apex one's seem to be cheapest and still lower 30mm? Looks like you both would reccomend them but do you have any pcis of them on the car? I'm trying to gauge ride height!

Off topic slightly sorry, but do you know the exact colour of them? Did you do them yu0rself? If so with a gun? Lovely colour and finish, just what I'm after when I get my GT's done!

Also guys, I know this question is asked over and over again but I;ve struggled to find 1 definitive answer on here for it, what oil should I use for the oil change on an 04 GT? I have chosen it in the past based on advice from this site but cant for the life of me remember what it was.

Just spoken to a few local custom places and booked it in at Pro Speed Cardiff! Always heard they've had a very good rep down here and price was very good £156 all in! Only query I have, he says when he's worked on 350Z's in the past he's opted to remove 1 of the flexi's on the Y-Pipe and he says 1 flexi will comfortably do the job of 2? Obviously he said he's happy to fit 2 for me (not sure at what extra cost) but advised me to go for the 1 as he says you don't need 2 and it of course brings the cost down. What do people think about this?

My 2004 GT is slightly overdue a service, last one was done at 94,000 miles and the car is just about to hit 105,000 now (although I have changed oil since the last one). My question is, what is due to be done at this service? Am I right in thinking the spark plugs will need to be changed if they were last done at the 54000 mile service? I will most likely have my friend (a mechanic) to do the service for me so want to research what's needed. If it is time for the spark plugs to go, what replacement one's do people reccomend? Thanks

Recently noticed my exhaust blowing, had it up on the ramp in a mates garage and the flexi's have gone so planning to replace the whole Y pipe section while I'm at it. Don't want to spend a fortune and I've spoted some cheap enough stainless steel units on eBay for £130, the seller is Toyosports. Does anyone know if these are decent quality or should I look for something else and will a stainless steel y pipe improve the sound at all? I don't know where to start with these, again don't want to spend a fortune on them and also don't want any warning lights coming on, is there any way around this? Not sure where to put this but my 54 plate Gt just passed it's MOT with 3 new droplinks and some very slight movement in 1 balljoint being the only things he picked up on. Ball joint is fine for the time being apparently but droplinks are causing some knocking noises. Where's the best place to get them and how much roughly should they cost? Toppe dup the PAS fluid and the problem has dissapeared. It seems to be holiding the fluid level quite well and I've done a fair bit of driving. Taken it to my mates garag and he's had it up on the ramp to check for leaks and he couldn't spot anything so hopefully it's problem solved!

I checked the PAS fluid on lunch and it was below the line, not checked the fluids in a while and a service due soon Topped it up and the problem at least seems to have gone for now but I've noticed it's worse when the car is cold in the mornings so will keep and eye on the levels to see if it's leaking and will see how it behaves first thing tomorrow morning! Cheers all.... for now
