  1. Haha yeah that's what I meant mate, matching tyres on each axle Thanks for the offer heaadrsuh but already sorted some now, cheers anyway!
  2. So too lazy to go to the car park, and too idle to use search?????? Well was going to ask the lower profile question anyway so... Cheers Thanks for the advice buddy, will stick to the standard then not to mess anything up Will have a go now, cheers
  3. Firstly, can anyone tell me what the tyre sizes will be on my Rays as I'm looking about online for some and can't be bothered to go out to the car park to check at the moment Also, I have 3 with good tread and 1 front that needs chaning but I'm going to change 2 so that I have matching tyres on each side. Is there a better profile tyre to go for as the standard sizes on there atm look a tad chunky? Cheers
  4. Yeah was thinking the curve would make it impossible to stick it on there. I was thinking of puting s bracket from the grill and out but may be better off doing it from under the bumper and up I guess. Will have to have a look to see if there's anything solid there to bolt it to!
  5. I've used those sticky pads before and I was amazed by how strrong they are but didn't thik they would work on such a small surface area as a grille slat! I think I want to mount mine just to the right of where yours is between the grill and reflector so will need a bracket Thanks for the links
  6. I like that! What's it attached to mate?
  7. Only just seen all these replies, cheers guys! Ian, how do you stick your plate on? Just number plate pads? Does it not damage your paint taking it on and off? I did leave it without a plate for a few weeks until I got stopped 2 nights ago by a local traffic copper and was lucky to avoid a £100 fine. So given he's local and will no doubt not let me off next time I'm gonna have to get one on I think I've been thinking a square import/bike type plate and mount it on an L or U bracket coming from one side of the front grill and then sitting in the space between the grill and front reflector? Has anyone done this or does anyone forsee any problems with it? Any ideas how best to mount a bracket there?
  8. Cheers all! I think I might go back to just having it in the window like you say Ian! Used to do it in my old car for 2 years and never had a major issue with police, just a few questions and the old 'it fell off excuse worked'
  9. Do the imports have square plates mounted to the side then or in the centre? I'm more interested in leaving the front clean rather than the shape of the plate, just thought a square one could be mounted on the side of the bumper maybe? I am tempted by one but not sure about the fit of them, I've seen they stick out a fair bit when fitted. Not sure if there's a way around this?
  10. Recently had the front of my Z smoothed and sprayed so no front badge or plate holder holes and want to keep the front looking as smooth and clean as possible. Was thinking maybe a square number plate mounted on the side somewhere? Not sure about using sticky pads as I'm afraid they'll damage the paint if I ever take them off. Any ideas?
  11. Got the coupe mate so will leave it on for now, cheers anyway
  12. Bought a set of Alcatraz a ones from top gaiters on eBay. First problem is with the gear stick one. Took old one off and fitted it fine, but then screwing the gear stick back on didn't work as it doesn't tighten quite right. If I under tighten it so it's straight then the little o ring rattles about but it won't turn one more full rotation. Any ideas why it knight be going back on differently? Secondly, the handbrake one I have in the pic, doesn't anyone know if that's supposed to go over what's already there or replace it? If so how do I get it off? Cheers
  13. Cheers for confirming both
  14. Looks very good! Particurlaly like the roof, going to have to get mine done at some point! Quick question, the rear badge, is there anything behind it (holes etc) or is it just glued on? I'm asking as mine is in the bodyshop at the moment and can't recall from memory how it sits on the rear...
  15. Buy his, sell yours. It's the cheapest option What he said. Even bashed up Tourers go for at least £100 on ebay. Possibly £200 if in decent nick. At £200 these are a steal! Buy these, swap the tyres, sell yours, job done. I have 18" Rays but preferred these wheels when looking at Zeds, they just look bigger than the Rays imo. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk Makes sense! Sorry only just seem this! I've got Rays and wanted to stick with the, so they're currently being refurbed in a similar colour now
  16. Thanks buddy, will look him up now. Anyone else have any links in case the above guy can't help me out?

    Door handle colour

It's blade silver and I know you're going to say that the black looks perfect against the silver but at the moment at least I'm really not a fan of the black or colour coding
  18. As above after a black alcantara type material gaiter for the gear stick, probably just black or grey stitching. Also after one for the handbrake but the reason I say cover rather than gaiter is that I'm after something similar to the one below (so a hard cover rather than loose gaiter). Does anyone know when I can get one? Preferably as a set. Seen a few options on eBay, this looks like the closest thing to the above I can find (but its leather). Has anyone got one themselves? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231153461274?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I'd also quite like to get hold of a matching gear knob like the one below, any links for this? Thanks
  19. OP - where did you get your gaiters from? I want to change both and was wondering if you were happy with them?

    Door handle colour

Although if you have any pics I'd be quite interested in seeing them...

    Door handle colour

Not really to be honest, I quite like the contrast of the 2 colours, even if it is just a different finsih of silver
  22. My car is currently in the bodyshop having a front end respray, wheel refurb and a few other bits fitted and tidied up. I've just had the thought to maybe get him to redo the exterior door handles at the same time as they're covered in small marks. Does anyone know the colour code of the handles as I know it's not the same silver of the car, it's seems like a flat colour. Any ideas?
  23. Thanks to you I'm now £150 extra out of pocket than I was planning to be 🙈 but I have had a bargain with a set of Eibach's and front and rear spacers Thanks very much for the tip mate
  24. How much we talking mate? I know I'll get slated on here for this but as I don't track the car I'm not really keen on forking out much more for better quality springs with the same drop if you see what I mean. Was maybe looking for some second hand coil overs though...
