  1. Unfortunately...I am indeed Just can't justify the running costs anymore...having moved slightly further away from my place of work...so will be on the hunt for something economical. Although really can't see me going back to a diesel Corsa lol! H x
  2. I'm about to put my 57plate 313 up for sale...pm me if you're still on the lookout
  3. I'm up the road in MK...but spend a bit of time in Northampton.. midnight blue 313
  4. Oh, ok, no worries..thanks for your reply! Someone has a bargain! x
  5. Will this fit a 2007 HR? Am looking at upgrading mine but not until the New Year, but if this fits it is indeed a bargain, as the ones I've seen are nearly £900 Hannah x
  6. I can't really knock kwik fit, as they have been really good to me...I think it's like anywhere, its all down to the individuals who work there, and if its a good team (who know their stuff etc) then they're ok to use for the basic stuff, emergencies etc. Some of the independents round here charge a fortune just to look at your car, nevermind if you want work doing....Kwik fit here are always accomodating and I don't find the guys bullsh*t you as much and everytime I've had cause to use them, I've been happy with what they've done and I don't feel ripped off.
  7. Mine went the other day... It's bloody noisy! Still drove it about 15 miles to the garage where they just welded it up (for free! yay! Sometimes being female does have its perks!) and so far so good, although will have to look at replacing the exhaust in the New Year. I wouldn't have fancied driving around for too long with it making that racket though...good luck x
  8. I'll sell you mine for 10k..lol! Seriously though, the right one will come along, that one that got sold just obviously wasn't the right one chin up luv x
  9. I paid nearly 11k for my 57plate 313 which had 54000 miles on the clock...probably was "had" a little, as its the non-GT...but it is in the best colour midnight blue! It's worth about 8k now if I was to trade in...so I think they do depreciate hugely..or maybe I'm just unlucky! lol! Good luck finding a good 'un
  10. I bet your friend doesn't stop at just one!! They are addictive...the cuteness, I'd have a houseful if I could My red boy is a Persian, and the multi-coloured girl is a Long-Haired Exotic (and pretty much as grumpy as she looks!) x
  11. lol you lot! My "boobs" are available for all to see on FB...nowt special though before u all rush! H x x
  12. Theres boobs in my car every time I go out in it lol! x
  13. Hi AK350Z... I'm in Milton Keynes, Bucks.. Didn't really want to take it in to Nissan here, coz when I took it to them to see about getting the passenger electric window issue looked at they wanted to keep it for 2 days and charge me nearly £400 for a motor (just wanted them to try the re-set thingy really). Suffice to say the electric window is still broken...I'm just putting up with it...lol! Hannah x
  14. Thanks for all your input on this folks! So the general consensus is either "get a second opinion" or just wait until it does start to go wrong...lol! I can live with waiting I think, seeing as its a small fortune to change it all...it can wait til after Crimbo Still have the sparks to sort, the exhaust is on its last legs (had to have it welded last week but it really does need replacing) and I have the passenger side electric window issue to deal with too....oh the joys of car ownership! At least when all of that's sorted, the car will be cracking Thanks again guys (and girls!) will just keep an eye on this clutch thingy and hope for the best x x
  15. Good idea about the trying out another Zed...thanks Will "Garage" and "trust" in the same sentence!? Hmmm...lol! So who wants to come drive my Zed? x
  16. My Zeds mileage reads in miles, not kilometres...and he's done just over 59000 miles, I'm guessing its on the original clutch No idea of the previous owners driving style, but I've always driven fairly conscientiously and don't coast, leave my foot on the pedal etc etc The clutch does feel a tad heavy but always has (since I got him) and the biting point is high (too high really and I often forget and stall, lmao!). Should I take the Zed to Nissan to get a second opinion on the clutch or just bite the bullet and get it done? It's a nightmare being a girl with a half -decent car, as no matter where u go you just seem to get taken for a ride (no pun intended!) or ripped off. Hannah x
  17. Thanks sweety! Have a good night x
  18. I'm just scared of it going and then being stuck without the use of the car (the Zed is my daily and need it to get to work! Lol!) Stuff going wrong with cars petrifies me, and u always seem to pick the ones that lots of stuff goes wrong with...typical Thanks so much for your replies, folks...I've PM'd ZMANALEX and will see what he can come up with for me to get this sorted in December. Hannah x
  19. Thanks for that SMD...was budgeting about that I guess...can't afford to get it done til next month though, loads of stuff needs doing on the Zed, and this is yet another thing that's cropped up! *doh* Hannah x
  20. Not slipping, no...and the guy in the garage that I took it to couldn't get it to slip either...but he checked it all, and said that the thrust bearing was on its way out. Like I said, meant nothing to me, but the garage advised that I looked at getting a new clutch sooner rather than later. They said that if I went off and got one they would fit it...bout 2 hours labour according to him. I just don't know what I'm meant to be buying though, lol! Hannah x
  21. Apologies if this has been covered a million times before, but I did have a brief look and couldn't find the answer for my particular age of car! Been told my clutch is on its way out Something to do with a "thrust bearing"...and it's making a weird chattering noise on idle (when I don't push the pedal down, goes away when I do!). The car is a late 2007 registered 313...that's the HR engine I'm led to believe. So what do I need to buy? If I buy a clutch kit does it include everything I need or is there additional stuff that has to be replaced at the same time? It's all double-Dutch to me, like "thrust bearings" "dual mass flywheels" wtf? Just need to know that what I buy is correct and not for an older model of Zed... Realise that I'm gonna have to pay extra for a garage to fit it, but am budgeting for that too. Any help appreciated... Thanks guys Hannah x
  22. Hey Mike, I'm in the same boat as you...need 2 new rears to get it through the MOT next month as mine are near the wear bar...and want to stick with the RE050As. Cheapest quote I've had is £170.50 each (inclusive of everything) plus they'll do my MOT for £20 I'm in Milton Keynes. Hows the Zed going by the way!? Hannah x
  23. You won't because you're men - you're incapable of learning from experience unless it involves your stomachs or your c*cks +10000 for this Hannah x
  24. Yesterday (tuesday) evening 9.00pm, coming off the M25 (northbound) at jct 11 Nice black roadster, being driven sensibly...ie you didn't undertake me in the coach. H x x x
