  1. the air bag light is nothing to worry about, maybe see if you have a member close by with a code reader to make sure it isn't something more serious but 9 times out of 10 is the connections under the passenger seat

frequently I get a bottle of water or similar that I have thrown into the passener footwell has ended up under the passenger seat under acceleration and I forget about it. A few days later and I'll get the flashing light. Retrieve any stuff from under the seat and wiggle all of the connections and then do the air bag reset

Turn iginition on wait for air bag light to turn on, turn key off

Start car and it should come on for 6 seconds and then should stay off.

    Then cross your fingers

  2. All tastes are different but it does look like he has driven backwards through halfords.

The chrome finishing is awful, I'm guessing he/she has done it after puttingh the stereo in and realising it isn't flush anymore but the fact that the chrome doesn't line up with the cubby just looks odd. From the thickness I would say it is exterior chrome.

The red seat belt pads offend me when they are paired with blue tyre valve caps

  3. Plus if you had changed down the gears to slow the car down via engine breaking then the cruise would have switched off anyway. At 60mph you could have changed into 2nd and the car would have slowed down rapidly.

I appreiciate that this is all well and good saying this after the fact and it is always trerrible to hear about a dead zed. Will you be buying another as a replacement?

  4. I asked a similar question here not too long ago:

    http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76659-winter-tyre-questions-for-jdm-17-wheels/

Never really got an answer but my calcs showed that in order to keep the staggered effect and keep rolling radius similar was 215/55/17 Front and 225/55/17 Rear.

I've recently got the correct sizes off ebay, be patient and they will show up, they are expensive as they are rarer. Just need to get them put on my JDM alloys now and then put those on my car. Now that the temps are hitting single digits I'll switch to winters.

  5. Wouldnt mind this done, standard 296 DE at the moment, would there be any point? Or could they fit an exhaust at the same time?!

There was a thread about this a few weeks back. There is definately a point to it. Plus, once you have the uprev license you only need to pay for minimal dyno/remapping time if you add further mods

  7. Me and soldering go together like chalk and cheese! I'm guesssing I'll have to leave it for now. I suppose I will have my hand forced and need to look at it if either of the existing bulbs ever fail as I can't see an easy way of replacing the bulb.

Thanks for the offer of the the refund but I'll hold onto them just in case I take a brave pill!

  8. Well my car is defo UK as I have the original invoice.

It just goes to show the issues manufacturers face, no doubt they had supply/quality issues and had to substitute it out on the production lines.

I'm guessing there wont be a solution to my setup then ....

  9. Recieved mine today, and the instructions kind of make sense done everything except the sidelights and vanity mirrors. The all look great fitted so far

It is the vanity mirrors I have an issu with...look at these pics and tell me how the hell i change the bulb. They are the same on both drivers and passengers.
