Imports cost a lot more to insure! As an example: UK 350 costs me £1100 to insure JDM 350 cost me £3500 to insure Not sure why the massive difference exists but it does!

Obviously you don't buy a car like this FOR it's MPG... But ask yourself this, would you still drive it if it did 10MPG?

Saw a 350 today and it was in great condition except couldn't help noticing the paint on the door handles were quite scratched! Is this normal?

hmmm. you'll only get 30 if you travel on motorways 95% + of the time. If you just go around town, you will get low 20s. I will be using it as my commuter as well as for fun, commute is mainly motorway so sounds fine to me

All I really wanted from this thread was to believe I can get 30mpg+ if I drive carefully and you seem to have done that for me! Low 20s might have swayed my opinion Cheers guys!

Apologies if there are (and im sure there are!) threads regarding this. I did a search on my phone and it said no matches which I find hard to believe. I just wondered what MPG I should really expect? Obviously you don't buy a 300hp v6 for mpg I just want to know how much I should really expect! In my current car I'm hitting over the stated MPG values so hoping with some frugal driving it is possible in the 350z too? Cheers guys, appreciate the info!

Yeah I totally agree. At first I thought I would like a built in sat nav, but starting to think a £100-200 unit fitted in the cubby hole might function better! My a1 has a screen but the sat nav SD card is £400... No thanks!

This was actually the first thing I was considering as a mod once I get my car... but I'd want bright white!

Hi guys, new to the forum but have been looking around for a few weeks now. Im almost definitely trading my Audi a1 in for a 350z, I found one I liked and was hoping you owners would be able to tell me anything to look out for? The one I found was in Daytona Blue (looks amazing) but noticed it had a lot of stone chips on the bonnet, and the gear stick looked very worn. Both things I could fix though Anything mechanical I should look for? Any big services that need to be done? Think this car was on 50k miles Appreciate any help guys!
