  1. Looks good. They're not the only thing you've added to your Zed recently though are they......?
  2. Hello and Jon. Where are you located?
  3. I think most of us will have our thinking caps on to name and shame the owner if we recognise the plate. Darren350 is from Bristol and had a black Zed. Note I said HAD as he sold it, but not sure if it was locally or not. I don't suppose it had gold wheels did it.....? :scare:
  4. Regularly see 2x Azure blue 350z's at Stourbridge train station, but have not had a response to any spotted posts, so have given up 'spotting' them. But today, there was a 57 plate Temper Orange parked near the platform entrance. Anyone?

    E-Bay 'Y' Pipes.

If you're looking for a 'cheaper' (avoiding the word 'budget') option, have a Y pipe made by a local exhaust fabrication place. Mine was £200 all in with 2x flexis but have seen others have them made for £150 upwards. Then if you do have any issues, just go back and see them. You won't have that option with an eBay item.

As Kyle said (thanks mate), I can help with bonnet struts: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/79733-fs-350z-carbon-bonnet-dampers-75-deliv/
  7. Hello, congrats and to the forum. 38mpg??? Drive it Willie!! :
  8. £510 fully comp for me with full NCB This is with our forum friends at Sky. They're the only company that will insure me due to the number of modifications on my Zed. Once you declare 6 or more, the mainstream brokers on the comparison sites aren't interested.
  9. Good luck! I contacted them after my 'Gunmetal' cans were nothing like 'Gunmetal (not even close). 'Battleship grey primer' would of been a better description of the colour. They did not respond to any of my emails, so I also have a few unused cans sat in the garage. If anyone does have a battleship / aircraft carrier / frigate that they want to Plastidip, I've got some cans they can have. Although I think you'll need more than 3...
  10. Plastidip - I hate the stuff. Zero customer service from Plastidip UK. A b*tch to remove and has to be rubbed off with your thumb and I've seen some terrible horror stories of people's paintwork after they've removed it from body panels etc. Used it once. NEVER again.
  11. You're more than welcome Steve, be great to see you, I'll add you to the list. There's also a meet next weekend at Cougar Store which is close to you in Leicester. I'm sure CS will be along soon anyway..... to the forum.
  12. Haha like a rash The future's bright, the future's, erm...
  13. Without spoiling the result for those that haven't seen it, I thought the mutual respect 1st and 2nd place riders showed each other in parc ferme was brilliant. They both clearly enjoyed today's work at the office
  14. Well, I took my bike for its MOT today. Intention was to get 12 months on it, tax it on Monday then start the 'For Sale' shenanigans. This was the intention until I'd been riding if for about 5 mins. Overtaken a number of cars and filtered to the front of a queue at a set of lights, and then reminding myself at just how ridiculously fast these things accelerate once the lights went green I can't sell it. Insurance is £80 fully comp. tax is about £50 (I think). Even if its left in the garage for another year, 'knowing' its there if the urge takes me is worth more than the price I'd get for it. And if I did sell it and miss it, there's no way I'd get something as tidy for the sub £2k mark. So I'm pleased to say, I ain't hanging my leathers up just yet.
  15. Hmm, I wonder what response you'd get if you went into Halfrauds and asked one of their fresh faced sales assistants, sorry 'technicians'.... "Is this carb cleaner ok to use on my Nissan 350z. I think my carbs need cleaning, would this be suitable"?
  16. Another vote for carb cleaner. Don't think about getting the bay clean as a whole, focus on a small area and get that spotless. Then once that small area is done, focus on another. Repeat till fade....
  17. At 20 inches Sam I'd say the tyre and rim sizes are much wider than the 18" set up. Usually 235 or 245 front with a 275 to 295 rear. I could be wrong though.
  18. The camera missed it. I was drifting round that corner too, but the camera missed that aswell. Plus all the tyre smoke cleared really quickly. Honest.
  19. No idea what you were searching for on the internet when you found this......
  20. I was following Squee on Sunday morning and then we got in the cars and went for a drive her exhaust just made me chuckle. Sounded like she was full bore everywhere she went Even when tootling through 30 mph sections. BAAARRRPP!
  21. Already some awesome pics (and we've only got Thursday's so far), looking forward to seeing the rest
