  1. Very true. I'm sure the thread title will be enough to catch the respective eyes!
  2. Other than the obvious choice, I can think of another member that's carrying off the whole purple thing quite nicely now
  3. Still a work in progress, but if you're a lazy git like me and find polishing your engine bay so it looks like Wasso's a daunting process, you could just clean and paint stuff...
  4. Haha. I knew Wasso would be straight in there! Dave, I must warn you, one you've started, there's no stopping. And to quote the aforementiond Wasso - "It's like Pringles".
  5. Hello and Very nice looking Zed, but that's a full Nismo kit (front bumper, skirts, rear spats and the spoiler) not a Veilside.
  6. Hello and Dave. Whereabouts are you located?
  7. Hello and Mike. Congrats on your new purchase. As above, whereabouts in the West Mids are you? You should of dropped by on Saturday: http://www.350z-uk.c...et-pics-page-6/ Hopefully see you around EDIT: Too slow!
  8. Hello and to the forum Steve. If you haven't already found it, take a read through the buyers guide: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/22880-guide-for-new-memberspotential-buyers/
  9. Thanks all, I really appreciate your comments.

    are people mad!

Before I made these exclusively for the forum, I was selling these between £60 and £90 on eBay. Then this impy7 rocked up, saw what I was doing, then started making and selling his own, Initially he was even using my text and photo's (some of you may remember my thread when I asked what to do). I reported him and he took some more pics (with the upside down Z). For a short while we were both selling them and mine were still fetching more than his (probably because my Z was the right way up), but everytime I listed one - he listed two. He even took to bidding on his own items with a second user ID to push the bids up. I no longer sell them on eBay and figured I'd let the non forum members fight it out over his. I have just made one for a forum member that has recently bought a Zed and also one of impy7's that descibed it in a PM to me as a "heap of junk" that does not fit properly. I suppose you could, yeah. Not a bad idea that.... Thank you Sir. Thank you very much
  11. Funny thing is, I did a little Googling to see if I could find an answer and the search results did return quite a few answers from the American forums for users reporting the same, or very similar issues. They all suggested performing a reset by opening the doors, opening the windows, leave them open then disconnect the battery for 5 mins. Not one response I saw suggested that they check the switch. Cheers ilogikal1 Even though you have highlighted my own stupidity!
  12. Oh god.... I hadn't even noticed that switch. They must've knocked it when doing the tint yesterday. Lets just not tell anyone about this okay?
  13. Hi all, My interior light has left me in the dark. The bulbs haven't gone, as they both still work when pressing them on/off. Bit they've suddenly stopped illuminating when I take the key out the ignition and/or I open a door. Any ideas? Can you help shed some light? (Sorry) EDIT: The windows still drop when opening a door, so I don't think it's a door micro switch issue, plus as the lights don't come on when removing the key, suggests (to me) its something other than this too. Is there a fuse or something that just partially controls the lights when opening doors and/or removing the key?
  14. Proud to be British again today. Our boys did a fantastic job and it was good to hear the national anthem for Scotty again. Great result for Cal, just wish he'd had a few more laps to claim Dani's position. Good result for Bradders too. His finger looks like it might be a bit sore....
  15. Thanks Scott. TBH I'm not exactly sure what % it is. I do know that it's one shade lighter than limo tint. Looks very black in the photos and when looking at the car from any distance, but if you get close you can still make out the Z on the strut brace. You do have to be 'looking for it' though.
  16. No worries Matt. Yes I'm still making them, so I'll send you a PM.
  17. Thanks for your comments guys Arran, I'm seriously considering removing the rear wiper now.
  18. Had the roof wrapped gloss black and rear window tinted today. More details here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71896-roof-wrap-and-rear-window-tint/
  19. Thanks for the comments guys. Aliensurfer, The wrapping was £80 and tint £70.
  20. Done! http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71896-roof-wrap-and-rear-window-tint/
  21. Okay, so I had my roof wrapped gloss black and my rear window dark tinted today. Many thanks to Jack and Hannah from Ultimate Wraps (with help from Brett) who completed an outstanding job. I’m very happy with the results. Anyway, on with the pics. First thing’s first. Remove the B pillars, and lift the A pillars. Then give the roof a ruddy good clean. On with the vinyl… Roof Done Moving onto the window…. (It’s cut to shape on the outside, but applied internally – before anyone asks) And we’re done The total time taken to complete both the roof and window was just over 3 hours and that included me getting in the way and taking pictures. Jack was happy for me to stick around and watch the process and also answered any questions (which there were a few) that I threw at him. I can, and will definitely recommend Ultimate Wraps for any window tint or vinyl wrapping you want done. They’re based in Brierley Hill, just outside of Dudley in the West Mids. Jack, under his own admission, is a perfectionist and clearly takes pride in his work. Further details can be found on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook...Ultimatewrapsuk or just PM me and I’ll send you their details.
  22. So is that why you bought a roadster? You thought the shape of the roof on a coupe would be a bit tricky to wrap? Joking! Obviously. Absolutely epic job. Looks great. Fancy doing mine?
