  1. How much are these?
  2. To be honest I would like to look at the ducting option rather than remoting the unit itself - although I recognise that as a good solution. Has anyone done this.
  3. I see that using a pop charger results in a slight loss in power due to heat soak from the engine. Is there a way to duct some air into that area. Standard car. Dont want to cut too many holes particularly where they can be seen. Thanks Shinjuku
  4. No mate. That 313 is at the wheels. Yours must be busted! Just joking...
  5. you joking me I was hopeing the flywheel would still be ok . you saying I should really change it I wouldn't want to as money is tight at the mo. Sorry but yes thats right. Chances are the flywheel may not be a long way behind
  6. You are going to need a flywheel as well mate. Sadly thats another 350 quid. Few would suggest you only change the clutch as far as I know. :x:x
  7. I would if I bought new but I doubt previous owners have done so.
  8. I was just thinking that its 6 years old. How long do radiators normally last. Cant be a lot more than that?
  9. Bumpety
  10. Was wondering how much it would cost to change my radiator on an 05 zed. Basically I would want something reasonable quality and as cheap as possible. What is the best part. Also is changing the radiator a significant job or is it similar to other cars. Anything unusual? Thanks Shinjuku
  11. I think there was nothing wrong in the first place and you have managed to get a free clutch and flywheel. If you had bought it at the nissan garage and taken it back there they would probably have said "they all do that sir". Rear wheel drive car, cold, its not uncommon for second to be a bit stiff.
  12. So are the bulbs in the 2005 cars hid as well. I thought the later models were supposed to be better. Surely a hid is a hid? More light is better but as has been said more blue means less light. I have used 6k before but that was when you had to choose between 4 and 6. First up has to be getting sidelights that are whiter than regular. So probably led. Thanks for the tip about the main beam. Will take a look. Shinjuku

  14. What are generally considered the best bulbs to upgrade the front lights of a 2005 z - side light, main and maybe dipped. Cheers Shinjuku

  16. I agree. Prices without having to click through each time is essential. Shinjuku
  17. Thanks jimmy.
  18. Any thoughts?
  19. Yes mate I know, I was having a laugh. Im no mechanic but im not simple either! Is there a guide to help me remove it and what should I be looking for back there?
  20. Ive been outside and pulled on the wheel but it did not do anything :-) Is there any guide that I could use to find out how to remote the steering wheel if needed and what I should be looking for?
  21. I dont have the cradle holder in the cubby. It would be nice but I can live without it. The important thing for now is the stereo controls. So how do I check if my car has the necessary wiring to allow the panel to be installed?
  22. Yep. Thats a blow. Why would they do that? So does that mean I cant get a remote panel for it?
  23. Thats fair enough alex. If it sells soonish that would suit us both I guess. I thought all the wiring behind the scenes would be the same. I guess from what you have said that im wrong about that though. How do I check whether what I need to plug the panel into is in there?
  24. the y-pipe wont make much difference without changing the cats. I have decats and its slightly rattley but nothing annoying at all, silenced decats quieten it a bit, hfc's still give a bit of rattley noise. Thanks for the clarification neil. I dont think I will bother with the y pipe then. I live in an urban area and something making a noise at around 2-3 thousand rpm would probably drive me up the wall so cat changes are out for me! 25. Cheers alex. Do the button panels come off? Would you sell me just the stereo panel - happy to give you my blank panel in exchange so you still have a complete wheel?
