I paid nearly that for my Swissvax stuff. If you love your car, then the good stuff really does make a difference.
Would you pay this price
£2,100
I know someone who uses this at £2,000+ on a couple of his cars... but then he is the sort of person who would pay £800 for an £8 pair of Primark jeans with a designer's label on it.
(Not that I'm saying the Zymol stuff isn't any better/different to cheaper waxes, of course. )

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3544872.htm = £8K for an STi hawkeye
Bit more than a '04 Zed is worth, granted, but that extra cash gets you an awful lot of car.
That's also a Spec D so holds a slight premium over an STi.
As one or two may have mentioned above if it was an STi it might be worth consideration but definitely not for a WRX - despite Hawkeye wagons not exactly being common.

Is it just me or is the boot being held open by a broomstick (5th picture, right hand side)?

even having it on a basic hose real stops it kinking
Providing that you actually use the reel... unlike me! Turns out that simply owning a reel doesn't help at all

The cars I would consider, but won't limit myself too included:
350z
S2000
Classic Subaru
Evo
Speaking as someone who currently still owns a classic Impreza, they tend to suffer a bit from understeer in standard form, but that can be overcome with thicker ARB, ALK and decent suspension. The early classics have shocking brakes, the later ones come with 4 pots up front which are better but still not wonderful for the track - upgrades are readily available but can get very pricey (can easily match the cost of the car in certain cases). The upside is you'd be lucky to find a standard classic these days; it'd actually be easier to find one with most, if not all, the track prep done already.
I wouldnt go for anything 4WD if you fancy actually driving the car and steering with the rear. If you want point and squirt fine, but it wont be as fun or challenging as RWD. That for me rules our Scoobies and Evo's.Unless you go for a scoob with DCCD

Greetings all
I thought it was about time I introduced myself seeing as I've been lurking for a bit - I would have done this earlier but I know you lot like pictures and I've not been able to stop driving the car to photograph it since I got. Some of you may recognise my car seeing as it was bought via this very forum, formerly owned by CMR
It was immaculately clean when I picked it up, but rather typically 10 minutes down the motorway and it was filthy, as I've not had a chance to clean it again yet, just the one (not particularly good) pic for now. More (better!) photos will be forthcoming once it's clean and shiny again
