  1. I think it was black... It was 20.30 today so it was pretty dark out
  2. Four ways; 1. The easiest way is to increase shutter speed. Your 500D can probably go up to 30 seconds without getting into remote shutter release magic things. 2. Increase the ISO. 3. Increase the aperture (decrease the f/ number). 4. Shine a light wherever you want more light
  3. What camera are you using? I think the first thing to notice is that the subject, the car, is under exposed. This means it isn't standing out as much as it should be. The good this is that you're using a tripod, so you can use a longer shutter speed. A good trick is to put the camera on a delay so that you can press the button and give the camera time to stop wobbling before it takes the picture. Night time pictures are always harder so I look forward to seeing some daytime shots
  4. You've sold me. I'm going to wander around Scotland next year
  5. Some great photos. I guess I'm going to have to go to Scotland next year! Not going to get shots like that in London
  6. Howdy! I'm sort of local - South West London.
  7. Yeah this was was horribly over exposed from the outside. Had to do some vignetting to 'save' it. I might have to invest in some off-camera flash.
  8. I'm hoping to put some pictures towards next years calendar
  9. Hehe, thanks guys. That's Major, I put him in the "Pets" thread
  10. Took more pictures of my Zed! http://andrwb.wordpress.com/2011/12/03/ ... 350z-gt-2/
  11. Some of you may know that I'm sort if into my amateur photography. I didn't have much time but I posed the car under some arches today... The rest of the set is on my blog - LINK I don't really look at many pictures of cars or read car magazines. I don't quite know what to look for when taking pictures of automobile vehicles but whatever.
  12. Have fun, let us know what it's like!
  13. I have a Sony XNVL 77BT in my old Golf and I'd rather just pay someone to take it out and put it in my 350z for me. I don't want to mess anything up. The headunit came with it's own microphone but would the existing bluetooth microphone be able to wire into the Sony headunit? Can anyone recommend any shops that will do this for me as well as supply any wiring looms and facias? If it's cheaper to buy my own cabling and facia, I don't mind buying them separately that and bringing them to the shop. I don't mind driving anywhere within a few hours away to give me an excuse to use the car
  14. Hmm. I didn't notice this before but one of my side lights aren't working. Is that easy to fix or should I just pop the other one?
  15. I may well turn up to that! I don't know much about cars so I won't be very good company, but I wouldn't mind going for a drive
  16. Nope! I am pants at haggling. Besides, I thought asking price was fair and I liked the guy. Boycey was absolutely superb and deserves a GTR one day
  17. If I thought about it too long I might have had second thoughts! It's an expensive toy but I plan on keeping it for a long long time! Besides, I'm on a 350z forum. I might as well follow suit and get one I must say the only times I really put my foot down is on a straight so hopefully I won't get into too much trouble. I'm looking forward to learning how to drive a 'proper' car! Also, going to meets won't be quite so embarrassing now.
  18. It has gone to a good home I'll get proper pictures up after she has a wash. Edit: Ahhh go on then. Quick ones...
  19. Do you guys have meets so we can compare... err.. gearsticks?
  20. Hehe Boycey, you have every reason to wish me luck
  21. Ah man I love Pugs. I want a Pug or an English Bulldog just because they look funny
  22. Clapham, so not too far away! Just the Focus was written off. I remember it well. It was New Year's day, 2010 and I went out to get a McDonalds breakfast. I wasn't drunk and I wasn't speeding around in the snow. My hot chocolate fell over and I went to catch it but forgot to straighten the wheel. There is the mess I made! My Golf is still plodding along but I'm desperate to change it. Pics brought to life for you (just use the Img code) Ebized
