All sorted, searched around and found the aprox weight of a nismo spoiler is 15lb's. I also had my boot weight removed so added that to the stack as well. Out of 30 trys of trying to open the boot, it opened 30 times faultlessly. 100% success Also done in a cold morning, so everything isn't working to its full potential

Around 80ft/lb

Just got back with the test with Humpy, as my boot gas struts are completely dead and humpy's are not. The popper was extremely violent. So now have swapped them over for a softer version. boot still opens 100% but doesnt bounce like a basketball So the springs are now on order! Once they have turned up everyone on the list will get a PM of payment details and where to send the poppers I have ordered enough for 25 people so dont hesitate to add your name to the list

Ok good news! I had time on my lunch break to try them out. I only got time to install one side but it popped the boot 100% and this is with only ONE popper installed on the boot. Will be installing the other side tonight. Updates will follow

Names added to the list I can send them out to you if you wish, but before try and remove the springs yourself first! They are not easy to get apart! you will find the washer with the E clip will go flying across the room taking someones eye out, i know first hand how much it hurts trust me... I have made up a special g clamp to remove them Safely

The gas struts don't aid the boot popping up, it's the springs that push the boot up from the latch

This will be a 100% fix no more pennies

I did think of this, but as they are not a part of the car that is necessary to make it run and they aren't easy to get hold of. I thought it was better. Would probably be looking at about a week turn around

You can get a harness bar that runs along the back of the seats, then just make sure you buy harnesses that can be wrapped

The drivers side has a lot of switches, if the handle was there you wouldn't be able to reach them. Also I doubt you could hold the wheel and rest your elbow on the rest.
