  1. Have a look at Wurth products. They do a two part crack detection kit. Both aerosols one is a red dye and the other is clear, this drys out to a white poder which will show any cracks up very clearly.I wont use anything else.

  2. TCA = Tracking Control Arm, usually lower A-arms.

May I ask if you bought those cheap chinese sets that look almost identical to oem on ebay? And if so, what problem you had? I haven't bought any, but I was thinking I would when I was a bit more flush.

Unfortunately yes I did.Problem being they are mow nearly as noisy as the originals were. Not bad when the original items had done 113000 milesvwereas the cheap chinese versions gave about 4000 mles. Not impressed with the atitude of the suppliers either-hence the complaintvto Pay Pal.Note"these are otherwise known as Banana arms

  3. 2007 350z.Bought cheap crap now need to replace after 4500 miles.I will name and shame the suppliers after PP has finished with them.

So as per title, best prices from ?

  4. Hi,hs anyone bothered changing the diff oil.I was"having play" on our local driving center grounds but having failed to drift the car,I then tried the usual lsd test and was surprised that the diff is not working.

This I suspect is the result of the car having a pretty gentle life before I bought it,in the hands of a woman driver.

Anyone ever freed up a diff just by changing the oil please.

  5. If only it was as popular over here then maybe the facelift headlights might not be as rare as hens teeth. Bad times

Too right, been searching for a pair of(non american)lhd for the past year for my 07 car.

  7. As above,I have just had a 45 minute session with Samsung UK Tech dept trying to get a connection that will last longer than ten seconds.Turns out that the BT4 outdates whats in my 2007 350z.

Question is,has anyone bought/tried an aftermarket kit,and if so,how good/reliable is it.Just been looking on Amazon and there are just so many to choose from I dont want to end up with somethong that does'nt quite deliver.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm a bit in awe of anybody who can get these things out of shape. [/quote)]

Most of it is confidence borne of experience, your average drifter can jump into anything RWD and make it work because he knows he can do it. A day spent at

driftschool and a guarantee youll be able

to do stuff you only dreamed of before, the Zed is very good for it as they are quite predictable and communicative.

That said, the Nordschleife is not the

place to practice, although once your good enough it makes wet days a lot more fun ;)

Quite agree,it can be a huge amount of fun.BUT,I certainly wouldnt advise it until you fully know and understand it.

It takes many laps in all weathers to really get to know it.Z is good for under eights, light flywheel, sport cats on a Japspeed system,is about the sum of mods to the car.The Z is very well suited to the surface changes, gradients etc.Its a matter of staying of the middle pedal and only using it when you need to,and that isnt many times;)

  9. GT86 -350z?Absolutely no competition.Z every aspect is superior to the toymotor with its very rough gutless engine.I sometimes had to use one for instructing in(they have sonce been sold off)Surprised by the amount of clients wanted to try before they buy, decided they did not like the car at all.

  10. 115000 and no problems with mine.56000 when I bought it not really having any knowledge of Zs when I bought it.Test drove it and shook hands on the deal.

I read somewhere recently the design engineers brief was that the engine at least should be good for a minimum of 200000,so high mileages shouldnt be a problem as long as has been said, the car has been looked after.Mine was originally from a Nissan head office manager.
