  1. Cheers lads, will hopefully get it sorted at the weekend
  2. Has anyone had any to replace this item recently? Mines appears to have a Slight crack on the passenger side causing a coolant leak. looking at the part it appears to only be 4 bolts and 2 gaskets to fit but I’m wondering if there is enough room to get it on and off without having to lift the engine thanks

    2004 De Cats

Looking for standard 2004 de cats for the car to get through it’s Mot regards shawn
  5. Good afternoon was just looking at the description for the above product, are they the same specification as the standard CAT in relation to the Mot. Currently having major emmision issues with a set of japspeed cats that are less than a year old and spoke to Nissan today who want £2000 for a brand new set cheers Shawn
  6. Cheers Ekona, il continue the hunt for some standard Cats
  7. Can anyone recommend a hi flow or sports cat that they are aware will pass the mot emissions test. Looks like I will need to replace the japspeeed cats as I’m currently careless but don’t want to fork out another 500 on a set that may fail.

I’m still looking at the moment, if you do change the cats next month give me a shout
  9. Had the diagnostics on the car and I’m getting a P1283 code coming up which I believe is 02 sensor (bank 2, sensor 1). can anyone confirm the position of the sensor, ie driver or passenger side and is it located on the actual car or between the car and manifolds. appreciate the help

    2004 DE cats

Looking to buy or borrow a set of Cats for a 2004 DE to get the car through the MOT. im located in Dundee
  11. Do you have any similarly priced sports cats/hi flow cats for a 2004 DE. I would normally wait but the cars just failed the MOT on the emissions. I currently have a japspeed sports sports cats and k4 exhaust fitted. The japspeed sports cats are only 7 months old cheeers
  12. It’s aftermarket, I changed the whole standard system for japspeed sports cats and then a full japspeed k4 system
  13. Cheers for the quick reply Yeh unfortunately at the time I took the plunge and went crapspeed. Il take a look at them 2moro to check Iv not been sold a dud/decats ( didn’t realise the decats and cats look exactly the same until today) then have a look at trying to source some Cats. Don’t suppose you know if the standard Cats should be a direct bolt on to the aftermarket exhausts
  14. I fitted a japspeed exhaust system and japspeed Sports cats about 9 or so months ago. At the time I had some issues with the sports cats not being delivered/lost by japspeed. Eventually they came and were fitted. Today i I had the car in for its MOT and it spectacularly failed on the emissions test. It ran 1.736 and then 1.572. Both times the car had been warmed up by the garage, who regularly deal with modified cars. The guy guy at the garage doesn’t reckon they are sports cats fitted, has anyone else fitted Japspeed sports cats and had such an issue with the readings? I’m gojng to take them off in the morning as the garage has suggested I check to make sure they aren’t just decats. Thanks Shawn
  15. This isn't to big a job to do, zmalex will have some used and potentially new brackets along with torqen and tarmac sportz I think.

    Sports cats

Has anyone recently changed the cats on there car looking to change the cats for a set of japspeed sports cats and full exhaust system this coming week and had the car up on the ramp. The top bolt on the cats looks like a nightmare to get into. Mines are pretty bady rusted over but doesn't look like there's much room for a grinder to get it off
  17. Hi guys looking for some advice as per above, I currently have a 04 350z with 80k on the clock. It's a daily driver and won't be used on track. I have just purchased some Tein basic street coil overs and will be purchasing some doorman banana bars in the next week. The car will be staying pretty much stock height with only a drop of 10 to 15mm maximum. I was considering purchasing new upper and lower control arms for the front and upper control arms for the rear at the same time and doing all the jobs at once. As far as I can tell the current arms are ok at the moment bar the banana arms which need done. Has anyone else did this recently and would recommend this or should I be perhaps looking at some other parts instead of the arms such as drop links etc. all I'm really looking for is to refresh the car back to the condition it was when new . Thanks for the advice
  18. Il let you guys now after a week how it feels. It does appear to be more smoother and feel better. I had a noticible noise between 1st and 2nd on occasion but this appears to have got noticible quieter and smoother. Engine oil changed as well and feels smoother to drive
  19. Looking for a locking wheel nut, for a 2004 gt with Rays alloys
  20. I'm doing a fluid change on the gear box today and have got the molyslip to add to the fluids. It's a 65ml bottle/tube. Do I use it all for the change or only a certain amount, also should I be putting it in any any sort of order ie before the gearbox fluid Thanks shawn
