The cheap double din units are of very poor build quality, I've seen some in action and graphics are very grainy and the sound is terrible. I bought a 2nd hand kenwood ddx 5022 for £150 off fleabay, then Im just going to stick a TOMTOM in my new cubby Or you can get a decent pioneer or kenwood HU with sat nav for about £350ish

I have a spare also I can send you if needed.

Also on flea bay it says hook the camera to the stop light for power?? Surely that should be reverse light for power and then run another cable from reverse light to reverse cam wire on HU for auto switching? Is that correct, feel like I'm confusing myself??!

Can a reverse camera be fitted to the jap sat nav screen? The jap screen NTSC I believe and can it rum dually with the sat nav itself?

As above guys I have 2 Zed badges in primer so you can spray in any colour you want when recieved. SOLD And My JDM 2004 motorised cubby door since I've had a change of heart (as was going to fit a xtrail dvd unit) Im not keeping the JDM sat nav screen or cubby.21/8 UPDATE right tested the motor on a 9v battery and it is working fine the lid is closing and opening fine, so it could be the sat nav control that's stopping it working, if you don't have the jap sat nav and a nurrish/cookbot/custom system I believe you can just wire this into the power. £100 delivered fits 2003-2006 zeds

Also what TomTom or other Sat Nav fits in the 2003-2006 cubby?

Hey guys, After much deliberation I want to rip my jap sat nav screen out and replace it with a normal cubby, I currently have a motorised one that is playing up after been fixed by Husky and now I just want a normal cubby to sit where the jap sat nav screen was and possibly stick a TomTom in it like other members have, any ideas on what I need? Mine is a 2004 fairladyz gt4. PS do the jap sat navs and motorised cubbys have any resale value??? cheers guys

Anybody found these still at £45? Cheapest I can find is £53.12 at Argoose, also the snow foam bottle that you get with this is any good? Or should I stick with my nilfisk snow foam lance?
