Use brasso and elbow grease or any sort of hard cutting polish will do the trick t-cut, meguairs compound etc

Ps nice hu btw, if pioneer is slightly different and there's nothing to hold the hu to the metal brace try some of the double sided foam that you use for sticking number plates it will hold in place then when you put everything back it will be secure in the console anyway with console screws. Pps use the 2 holes at the behind the console either side of where the hu sits to hide your wires as it's a real squeeze fitting everything behind especially if you have the remote stalk and a inline booste.

When I put my kenwood in the fascia panel just clipped inside the console then bolted the hu to the metal brackets that then screw back onto the car it self. My fascia never screwed to anything just clipped in and the hu and console secured everything in place by screwing over it. Where abouts are you dude?

Just made quick journey and there's a strange electrical whistle noise when I'm accelerating?? I've just installed my new hu unit. I cant quite make oere the noise us coming from also??
