they are lovely cars...but any ownership experience?

while i was away in the sandy shithole, i was considering other cars as ' upgrades' , very few cars seemed to improve over the 350z, my only choices were the m3 V8 and the Cayman 3.2 .... any experiences?

well so far im looking at a pearl white M3 with 29k miles, 2007, for 21k squids, sounds too cheap to me, what do you guys think,,,its mainly for performance im changing for ...does anyone have any experience of this model? Thats not a white one with red leather is it? yes thats the one, it seems very cheap for 28k miles

Im about to commit to a change of car, i am looking at a BMW M3 V8......i feel guilty at leaving the zed behind...am i selling out? i do love my zed, but that m3 V8 does look very nice

yes thanks, going back out on a few months, managed to save a lot of money out there, but there's still plenty to spend your money on, courtesy of American supermarkets!! they don't like to leave home behind... Now, question is....do i save money or spend it on the Zed?

oh yeah and when i leave the lights on and open the door...there's no alert noise...i managed to leave the lights on for a couple of hours by accident...so there's obviously some problems here

well normally the TC comes in like an overbearing mother, but today i managed a slide out on the junction, a first for me with the TC on.... will an ECU re-set remove the UpRev map?

thanks for the welcome back messages The car was jump started ok, everything seemed fine, then i noticed wheel spin in the wet and no traction control kicking in, you can select it off or on, but it doesnt seem to actually do anything. Is this a feature of the car losing battery power? do i need the ECU reading or resetting? CHeers all

well they ran it around while i was away regularly....or so they say......hence the reason i gave it to them....i hope it is just a matter of under using the battery as i cant imagine a jap car falling foul of rain!

HI again everyone, Im back from the middle east, i phoned my friends up who were looking after my zed, only to find out they couldnt start it today, they told me various lights appeared on the dash and it wouldnt turn over, they suggest its the mad wet weather....my car hasnt suffered before....any suggestions? im going to see it tomorrow......gutted i have no car ive been missing so much in Afghanistan

I contacted the road safety officer, with my concerns about the hidden fixed camera, he's gone out to investigate, maybe contacting yours might help? it will certainly help clarify matters from the rozzers point of view.

well from what im told, again probably bollocks, but if a fixed speed camera isnt visible, they arent legal...but this is why i contacted the coppers, im flying out to sandy places tomorrow and don't want a certain letter i have to reply to in a certain time! ... never drive on the A17 !

i recently went past a fixed camera that was hidden by overgrown trees, i have contacted the police, they have yet to give me the legal standing on this
